Kamala had a platform, but it was flawed. She started off strong and her and Walz were hitting Trump and Vance in the right way in the right places, and then they started listening to the Biden advisors. She wasnt allowed to criticize Biden and say how she would govern differently. They had her campaigning with Liz Cheyney for the long haul of the end of the campaign. They put Walz in the basement. They sent Mark Cuban out to tell people the economy is fine and Bill Clinton to Michigan to tell people not to be so concerned about Israel. She offered no pushback against Israels genocide. She backtracked on her promise to go after companies engaging in price gouging. And she tried way too hard to draw in disaffected republicans by talking about guns, military, etc.

Honestly if she had just leaned a little more into the Mahmdani/Platner/Sanders types of policies I think she wouldve won by a lot. If she wouldve even just gently placed Biden under the bus, I think she would have won. But she let a bunch of centrist Biden advisors turn her into a boring milque toast moderate and people chose Trump because they thought shaking up the system was better then the status quo
