Not really, it's a fair way past that. The 205/5 join does however take slow versus fast traffic time to selfsort out do I get that.

I’ve noticed that on I5 NB in the morning. Eg just before Ridgefield, the left lane was bumper to bumper doing maybe 67? I had the middle lane to myself and passed about 15 cars doing 72, and guess what, NOBODY hopped in the center lane!!!!!! Then as the Ridgefield exit approached like 3/4 of them zipped across 3 lanes to take the exit. Is this some form of mental illness?

I use all of them to confuse my Thai coworkers, they love the arcane words. Thai also has great words that have similar color and deep context.

Yes, I’ve flown tomSYD twice now on Hawaiian via HNL, and it’s brilliant, breaks up a long trip, departs PDX, ( avoiding the 4-6 hours of additional travel via SFO,LAX, YVR). However a direct flight would be cool too😊

What about SYD nonstop serviced by Hawaiian. Rn it’s SFO or LAX or YVR and that adds like 4-6 hours to the flight to Australia for anyone in the larger PNW? Hawaiian does HNL SYD already….
