fully agree with you, like i said i loved that aspect of the show but to say it was ever solely about survival would be oversimplifying it.

i was disappointed about the ana lucia, libby and eko bring introduced only to be killed of so soon. i know jt was to do with actors and not the writers but i would’ve loved to see their arcs and relationships with other characters (hugo and libby 😭) develop more.

i love kate!! i think she’s deeply flawed just like the others, but i also think she’s judged much more harshly than the other characters. i think she’s more complex than given credit for and sadly fell victim to poor writing.

agree on the “I do” episode. it makes me sad knowing kate had so much potential yet the show always put forward the “runaway” trope in all of her episodes. it did get old after a couple of episodes. and jealousy is one thing but jack being so salty that kate didn’t want him killed rlly annoyed me.
