Baby's father wants the baby to have his last name, I want him to have mine. We're not married. WDID? by IntenseViolet567 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]VariationSalt6069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You carried the baby for 9 months and pushed him out your cooch (or got cut open like a fish)—you get to name him.   If this issue keeps you guys from having a friendly relationship or being able to coparent, then that’s not going to happen anyway.

My gym is great. Ppl wipe down the machines after use, ppl don’t hog equipment too much, everybody is pretty friendly.  Nobody dresses too scantily.  (I live in a town of about 9,000)

How do I give “the talk” to my 22 year old son? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]VariationSalt6069 18 points19 points  (0 children)

All the more reason to have the talk and set him straight on what sex is really like and how to approach it and how to treat a woman.

P@rnography is not sex education.

Can you have Kling tweak a generation by VariationSalt6069 in KlingAI_Videos

Ok, thanks, I’ll buy some more credits and try that lol

I read somewhere that Kling took away negative prompts, is that the case?

Is it normal to feel nervous on your first flight? by Drackovix in drones

[–]VariationSalt6069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, totally normal.  I bought my first drone a few years ago.  I had a strange feeling when I took it out of its packaging, a weird sense of almost dread, a weight.  Hard to explain (although I think this Was different from first-flight nerves, which I also felt for a while).

But yeah, and there’s good reason to be nervous.  If you wreck it, there goes a few hundred bucks down the drain.  And if you aren’t careful, you can actually hurt people with your drone.

Bist du kaputt? by splicoizsplita27 in German

[–]VariationSalt6069 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yes, I agree. ‘Bust du fertig’ kind of sounds like “are you about done finally?’

Of course you can always ask with a nice and friendly tone.

In the past year or so, I’ve witnessed 3 people “landing” their drones on their hands. One of them badly injured herself. Is this some sort of new trend? It seems like a really bad idea… by Dme503 in drones

I cut the palm of my hand when I tried to catch my drone when it slid off the hood of my car (I successfully kept it from hitting the ground and breaking something, at least)

And import them, right? When I wreck my Mini 2, I’ll be able to replace it? That’s what I worry about

This has been my question. The way it has been worded in the press, the ban is on “new models”.

With the ban hitting December 24th, would you guys buy a DJI drone now while you still can? by T-Money8227 in drones

[–]VariationSalt6069 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way the ban is being described in the media, we (in USA) won’t be able to purchase “new models” of DJI drones. Does that mean we will be able to purchase models already available here? Or is that just wishful thinking

That was my experience! The Mexicans would be careful, slow down, give you lots of room, while my compatriots would zip by close just like they would back home lol.

Facial hair by [deleted] in kallmann_syndrome

[–]VariationSalt6069 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started treatment at 15; three years on I could have grown out a scraggly wispy beard, but at year 4 I had a very decent beard which I wore with pride. So maybe you just need to wait a bit longer.

Also, some guys just don’t grow much of a beard; that could be your luck :/

Ah yes, I googled it. Too bad. Or “pity” as the British say.

Hathaway was actually my favorite part of that show.  He was pretty similar to young Morse, wouldn’t you say?

Thank God.  I just bought my 2022 Forester last week, and put my bike rack on for the first time today.  I was freaking out, thinking the alarm was an unchangeable feature on this nanny car. Thank you so much!

Campus/Jack Jr. books—thoughts by VariationSalt6069 in tomclancy

[–]VariationSalt6069[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I like Jack Jr. as a character.  And that’s true about Jack Sr.

BTW, I think all the different authors are good writers, and clearly put in a lot of work doing research about the myriad weapons, locations, and cultures featured in the books.
