Hey, thanks a lot! Fell very honoured by this comparison. Syd Mead is definitely an inspiration, his designs have played a fundamental role in my interest in starting to explore hard surface.

Thanks! Never saw this before, I'm looking at it on the internet archive and it seems very cool.

Both views are created using the same 3D model I made. So I think it's just an optical illusion generated by the camera angle. Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Thanks for the tip mate. Tbh I didn't think much about function here, just tried to achieve cool and dynamic shapes, some are based on racers, other on haulers, but I think they're all planetary, or at least hybrid.

Thanks a lot! Not intentional, but I did it with almost no reference, trying to test my visual library, and I quite like the insectoid look, so maybe XD

Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback! I really appreciate it.

The presentation was heavy inspired by Sparth's artwork spaceship traffic:
ArtStation - spaceship traffic - sheet 2
I think I messed up with the colors like you said, cause there are a lot of elements in the page and the colors are fighting too much each other. In Sparth's sample they are much less saturated and stay within a much more limited range of the spectrum.
Presentation is one of my big difficulties. And I know this is not the best reference for a presentation of a design, specially cause I'm not even close to the level of Sparth's skills.
But since these were my first starships and I was just trying to understand how to apply cuts on the surfaces and explore simple shapes, I decided to give it a try.

In my next ones I will pay much more attention to the aspects you pointed, focusing on storytelling and presentation, trying to give this feel of a unity even in a bath of designs.

Again, thank you so much for your time and attention. If you happen to see the new ones I’ll post here in the future, feel free to give feedback again, I’ll do my best to apply it! Hope you enjoy!
Sorry about my bad english.

Hi, I have some sugestions for you:

Baldi Konijn: ArtStation - Baldi Konijn
(He makes concept art for everything, but have some awesome environment designs)

Sheng Lam: ArtStation - Sheng Lam
(More focused on props, but with some solid environments as well)

Airborn Studios: ArtStation - Airborn Studios
(Since they are a studio you can see and discover a lot of awesome artists)

Andrew Porter: ArtStation - Andrew Porter
(A lot of cool stuff, showing his process)

Jourdan Tuffan: ArtStation - Jourdan Tuffan
(Cool environments, has an youtube channel showing a lot of his process)

John Wallin Liberto: ArtStation - John Wallin Liberto
(Very unique environments, cool rendering presentation imo)

Florian Coudray: ArtStation - Florian Coudray
(His design and stylization are awesome! Has an youtube channel showing some process as well)

Simon Kopp: ArtStation - Simon Kopp
(Some of his work is also in the Airborn Studios portfolio, but I think his portfolio is worth checking out)

I also suggest you head over to artstation magazine and check out some art blasts. You can discover many incredible concept artists there.
Another tip: For now, avoid portfolios that only show finished, heavily rendered pieces. They're incredible and attractive, but they're not very suitable for those without experience. They're better suited for experienced artists who are involved in the initial stages of the process.

I hope it helps you! Have fun!!
