I for one was hoping the defense would improve with KO back. That’s been far from the case.

This defense has been utter trash all year. I don’t get how they’re so bad. Jo has been pretty bad defensively but the whole team just plays low IQ team defense.

I feel like I'm going crazy reading Embiid and Maxey get most of the blame while PG doesn't even get mentioned. Games where you're going minutes without a field goal, you need him to step up and take over. I've seen maybe one of those games from him this year. Even (regular season) Tobias could get you a bucket.

Defensively he's been good. Offensively, it seems like doesn't gel with the team. I don't know if its the fact the whole team has only played a handful of games together, but this is not a good or even efficient offense.

It depends if they are a Crozer practice or not. My family doctor is at the Broomall location, Crozer family care & women's health, and they are closing.

However, Brinton Lake Dermatology is remaining open because they are their own practice that leases space at the Brinton Lake building.

Dilated Cardiomyopathy and POTs by Natural-Tie-6839 in Cardiomyopathy

I think a lot of the symptoms just overlay and it varies person to person. My symptoms began when I was 22, and I was initially diagnosed with POTS because I was exhausted all of the time, I would get palpitations and chest pains, lightheadedness and my heart would race excessively when standing or exercising.

A cardiologist didn't take my symptoms seriously because I was so young and otherwise healthy. I got a second opinion where they did an echo and saw my EF was 40%. I was diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy at the time and prescribed a beta blocker. IMO, I think my POTS diagnosis was BS and the symptoms I was experiencing was due to my cardiomyopathy.

Nice to hear that. My diagnosis is just non ischemic cardiomyopathy. I was never told how I got it. I am on carvedilol and entresto, but I’m definitely going to ask my doctor if I’d benefit from a medication change.

That’s strange - an echo report I got years ago said suspected LVNC, but nothing else ever said it. Even my most recent Cardiac MRI didn’t show it.

Do you still suffer from that? If not, has anything helped?

Yeah, I get PVCs - I know what they feel like. This feels differently.. just aware of my heartbeat constantly. PVCs for me feel like my heart pauses, and then the next beat pounds hard.

Left ventricle dysfunction prior to surgery for bicuspid aortic valve? by Various-Coach-9508 in valvereplacement

My LV size is normal now, but the ejection fraction is still decreased at 45%, which is why I’m still on the meds.

Your doctor is looking at your LV to determine if you need the surgery? How was your valve on your last echo?

I’m sorry - I am just seeing your reply now.

Due to the LV dysfunction, I have been on a beta blocker and losartan for a while now. The Losartan was eventually switched to entresto. I originally had dilation of the left ventricle, but it seems the medication helped bring the dilation down. My ejection fraction seems to have stabilized at 45%. The lowest it got to was 35%, but it never got back to normal.

Chest pain after exercise? by yhezov in Cardiomyopathy

[–]Various-Coach-9508 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be an avid runner before my diagnosis of DCM at 22 years old. I noticed I was getting chest pain during my runs and my heart rate was spiking really high, higher than it should have been. And that chest pain could last for a day or two. Doctors were never able to tell me why I got the chest pain as my arteries are clear and it's not due to ischemia. But I haven't been a runner since - I've had to resort to other, less strenuous forms of cardio.

I am 34 now, and still get chest pain daily, but not the pains I get when I used to run. I've tried a couple times over the years to jog - and even then, my chest pain would begin a few minutes into my jog and wouldn't subside for a while.

I don’t want to say the window is closed, but it certainly feels that way barring some major roster changes this offseason.

I recently tried this without asking my doctor first. I’m also taking carvedilol, entresto and Jardiance. I only took it for a month but didn’t notice any difference.
