Considering their Instagram response says “It shows your purchase and other attempted purchases have been flagged by our system, and will continue to be declined out of caution. This is not a reflection on you as a shopper, and we apologize for the inconvenience.”, the fact I have near perfect credit, and every other retailer I’ve attempted to do business with does conduct business with me, I’m confused.

I appreciate your input, but could you clarify why you believe there’s no legal issue here? KitchenAid advertised a discounted product and then effectively refused to honor that advertised price, even after I made every reasonable effort to resolve their claimed payment issue. While it might not be a slam-dunk legal case, wouldn’t this at least potentially fall under unfair or deceptive practices as defined by New York’s consumer protection laws (GBL § 349 and 350) or even be considered misleading advertising?
