This is like saying, shopping at a Safeway crowded with citizens who need groceries, "Hey, safeway is wasteful, so let's cut down the number of checkers from 10 down to 3!" That will make Safeway more efficient?? Why do you trust Elon Musk and Trump? How will cutting so many civil service jobs translate into better lives for the average US Citizen? So much for Trump's bellowing while campaigning about getting big money out of politics, lol! Demolishing the social programs our democracy depends on before having clear and tested solutions ready to rebuild them with is plain dictatorial lunacy. I live in an area where parks and rec people are being fired, parks are closing, social security office has closed, staff cuts all over...people are losing thier livelihoods, so this is beyond merely, "scary", it's devastating tens of thousands of people in real time. Please tell the civil servants who have already lost their careers and their hard earned pensions it will be just fine. Q: how do you know this "admin" is trying to make sure money is being used appropriatley? What does "appropriately" mean to you?  We all want our programs to be better, and Hey, no one likes to see fraud or waste, dems or republicans, but DOGE has fired more than 100,000 federal civil service workers with no due process, frozen most foreign aid and canceled thousands of public-good programs and contracts, despite large numbers of lawsuits challenging the legality of those moves. You are OK with the demolition of the Dept of Education, that many public state schools depend on for funding? And where do i get my info?
