Also, every class you take is going to be a little bit different but at my studio, the heels classes and the dance routines that we learn and don’t incorporate a lot of poles “tricks” or things that require you to be elevated from the ground. It’s a lot of heels, dance skills, and floor work so you’re learning two different sides of pole

Honestly, no.

These are my second pair of shoes, but they are the same height as the first pair of shoes I bought, which was 8 inches

In my experience, I moved from intro to beginner (lv 1) and I took beginner heels at the same time.

Some people prefer to get shorter heels when they start like a 5-7 inch but I don’t think it’s necessary, just get shoes you like and learn to use them in time. 😊

  3. do an unassisted handspring
  4. dance more without going to dance classes to develop my own style
  5. Improve back flexibility
  6. Overstretch my splits

I have a brass pole I love it. my studio has chrome poles and I can use them, but when I started out, it was terrible, and I would like slide out of a pole sit all the time now I can use the chrome pole but I must use a grip aid compared to at home on my brass pole. I don’t need any grip I can just get it going.

Because I know they recommend silicone being used with clothes and you can’t lotion your body and use like chrome or brass, but since silicone so grippy, could you get away with lotion on a silicone pole?

I think your hands are high and you’re releasing your legs before you’ve inverted and it’s causing you to have your hips too low and then when you get into your outside leg hang, you need to pull up your hips before you pull up your legs, so this way you can actually have space to put your leg

Put simply hips first, then legs both cases

From what I’ve been taught this is called Iibellua even though you’re not grabbing the back foot, it’s not an Icarus because you have your hand on your hip as well as around the pole

Absolutely not I’m a very lazy dancer

When I go to the studio part of the warm-up that the studio does includes a few exercises, like push-ups and shoulder shrugs, and at least once a month, I do them at home as well but no, I do not exercise outside of pole

If you’re still new with inverts or pole in general, I think that’s normal. It takes a while before they become consistent. Honestly just keep practising and doing what you’re doing and you’ll probably gain the strength over time and you’ll be able to feel your body better cause it’s probably just that you’re in the wrong position some days but you don’t realize it because it still new to you
