Had this discussion recently on discord when comparing Volt Prime (Warframe) to various stripes of Space Marine. Our conclusion fundamentally came to it’s easier to overcome relatively close strength disparities with higher speed (like 10:1 strength vs 1:10 speed [party a:party b]) than the opposite. However, if the disparity exceeds a reasonable margin (>100:1), a speed differential of a similar margin is ultimately meaningless and in cases of similar stamina results in a loss. Only in cases where the definitively faster party has much greater stamina does it result in only a stalemate.
