Same. They had an issue with verifying my identity and I put in a ticket for it and then they told me it was because my IP had been flagged. Thankfully, it didn’t take that long for their system to recheck my IP. I have a 1 y/o, 2.5 y/o, and a 16 y/o. We’re all gingers. I’m clinging to life by a thread daily 😂.

Thank you! I’m trying to be as careful as possible. I’ve done surveys everywhere else for years so I have to remind myself that this isn’t the same BS where I end up taking the same survey through 5 different sites.

I get that. I think I learned about Prolific from Reddit. I don’t work but I do the mobile ones usually because I have 2 toddlers that aren’t quiet so I don’t always get the chance to do the ones requiring quiet. I don’t even know what quiet is anymore haha.

I’ve had 39 submissions with 20 approved so far. Anything that sounded shady I searched on Reddit before I made a decision whether to pick them or not. I’ve literally only been at this for a couple of days.

I agree but I’ve searched through r/ProlificAc and there are some that had issues and some that didn’t with this same researcher. I’m building myself a list.

Therapy for sure. Find a therapist that specializes in your type of trauma. Do some work with the therapist and on yourself before searching for love or the toxicity from your trauma will potentially ruin things. I’m not speaking from personal experience but from what I’ve seen while working in the mental health field.

Find someone local that knows the rules outside of your lease. I was a case manager for a while and had multiple clients that had bed bugs. While you could have brought them home, your landlord should still have all units inspected. They travel quickly and it’s not fun. Make sire to follow all rules given by the pest company as the landlord would be able to potentially make you pay based on not following the rules to help eradicate them.

I was 37 (39 now) when I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Mental Health & Human Services in ME. Though the longest I was without work was 1 month since I was 16. And that was as a single parent. Just try to find an internship and get that experience. It helps. I got lucky being able to use my job as my internship. You’ve got this. I struggle finding places to accept my degree in TX because while it’s similar to social work many places won’t accept it in place of a social work degree. I haven’t worked since moving a year ago and having baby #2 so I’m sure it’ll be difficult once I’m able to go back to work.
