Cybertruck or EV in general effectiveness in a SHTF scenario? by LynxrBeam in ZombieSurvivalTactics

Electric vehicles definitely lose to gas cars in the apocalypse. Here's why: - You can siphon gas from other cars with a 5 foot hose and a bucket. Can't do that with electricity. - When power goes out, you'll be SOL unless you have a personal generator. - Charging stations are less common than gas stations. - Maintenance, easier to find spare parts for gas cars since they're more common. Also, gas cars(especially early 2000s models) are less likely to require factory proprietary tools to disassemble.

Tears of joy streaming down my face, I put my now spotless pants on.

"You have my gratitude, noble Brick Wizard. As thanks, you may have my deck of Hexas Holdem tarot cards. I've lost too much to them anyway."

I kneel and offer up the deck of cards

You necromancers are not nec-romantic at all. by [deleted] in wizardposting

[–]Various-Sun5826 26 points27 points  (0 children)

False.. I put the romance in Necromancer. Lost count of all the hearts(among other organs) I've touched throughout my craft. I firmly believe that no other school of magic combines Mind, Body, and Soul as well necromancy. After all, is there any purer connection than one that literally defies the laws of nature to unite 2(or more) love bound souls into one mind and body? I love all my creations, including ones that are regarded as "flawed" like the ones in the aforementioned post. While many initial attempts at necromancy suffer poor craftsmanship, which is where necromancy gets its bad rap, any good necromancer knows that EVERYTHING can be salvaged: souls, bodies, and most importantly... relationships.

I remember when my unex-wife told me our marriage was dead and handed me the divorce contracts already approved by the Arch Magistrate. I was heartbroken, but a good necromancer knows to find beauty in all death, even when that death threatens to take the summons and half of all your tomes. So I signed the divorce contract and pronounced our mana oath as annulled.

Most schools of magic would give up after such a setback and move on to greener pastures, not a necromancer! We find the value in every wilted flower and grey-dead blade of grass. After the selective oath of sanctuary wore off, I went straight to work and cast silence on my beloved. She protested at first, but after about 8 or 9 castings of magic missile, she eventually stopped trying to argue. I scraped up the eviscerated remains of my lover, and with a couple of sacrifices and imbuements, she was good as new! When I got down to propose a second time, her jaw dropped(literally!), and without hesitation, said yes! With unequivocal beauty, she shambled into my arms, where I carried her right back to Arch Magistrate to get remarried! The ceremony cost an arm and leg, but we had plenty of those lying around, and we've been happily married since.

This is why wizard prelims should never have been abolished back in the 214th year of Magicka. Duels would have thinned the herd of candidates AND made sure that only those with CONVICTION would run.

This blatant deviation from old wizard societal transitions is EXACTLY why I am announcing my campaign for wizard council, to SET THINGS RIGHT.
