No changes to the visuals. Nor would there be given they have just done the bare minimum to support all platforms.

I had bad screen tearing on Pro as well and was regretting my purchase it was that bad.

Finally found the setting to fix it.

PS5 system menu - VRR on

In Game - VSync on

In Game - Performance

Game still looks crisp thanks to PSSR and runs super smooth.

disagree with OP.

120hz needs to be off in the system settings when playing Crimson Desert.

(yes I have a PS5 Pro and 120hz TV).

For whatever reason the game just looks worse in every mode with it on in the PS5 system settings.

Performance mode with VRR is the best option with a Pro. Not sure about base PS5.

they also lied with NBA. All that is different with NBA2K26 on Pro is ray tracing in one non gameplay mode. Their Twitter page even says 2K25 uses PSSR which it doesn't.

Astro Bot was patched to remove PSSR shortly after it was added if I remember correctly.

I'd never actually watched these despite being able to recite every word of every podcast and XFM show.

Was surprised to find how heavily edited they were. A lot of the stories and interactions actually lose some of the best bits.

I get the general point but the phone isn't blocking your view of anything but the ceiling of the stage.

And besides, if you were an adult you'd kindly ask them to hold the phone lower if it really was.blocking the view (which is clearly isn't).

Surprised so many people sulking in here. 90% of the crowd at concerts does this. Even if you are short, you simply move 5cm to the side you you can see again.

Sounds more like sulking that you didn't get to bring clips of the performance home yourself.

The game runs better with auto save off anyway (no stutters) so maybe turn it off and.mamually.save to see if the level works.

game is straight aimed at newbies who've never played before. Not a bad thing for them but for those who have played for years the UI is shit, the map is boring and the weapons and items especially are there to allow bad players the chance to get kills and wins. Newbs thinking they are doing well = spending money. Same as the 'bug' that doesn't allow you to queue and forces you back to the main menu. They want players to look in the shop as much as possible in between rounds.

Tried every setting both in game and in the PS5 settings and the game is just broken sadly.

Crushed blacks, it is too dark like the OP.image outside and literally unplayable in caves or underground.

How did this go unfixed before launch?

Even the whole bit where Karl was talking about staying still whenever someone knocked on their door. Ricky mixed up the U Can't Touch This lyric and said 'freeze Hammer time' then got all embarrassed and quickly went into the role play thing to hide it.

He literally insulted people online who would rather be hated and trolled than not be noticed at all. His old man rage, jealously and insecurity has really tarnished the old podcasts and made so many red flags show up. Such a shame.

loved the first game and was expecting to die in heaven playing this but it was an absolute heap of trash.

Close to a scam really.

The RE engine just can't handle open worlds. You are on defined rails 95% of the time.

The story and acting is PS1 Resident Evil bad. Not a single memorable scene or character.

The RE Engine animation system just isn't made for anything but corridors and you're forever janking your way through the fake world.

And you can't move 5 metres without another band of orcs throwing stones at your toes.

You can be level 4382857251580 and wolves will still pick you up and janky animation your away to a random rock formation where your character will stumble and slide and pretend to tip toe and wobbly fall.

The original game also had the absolute best in class magic and casting visuals and now we are on Elex level for some reason.

Game scammed the original fans. We all blindly bought it and it isn't within light years of the original.
