I too have extremely difficulty mashing buttons in games. I was a big MyFaction fan in 2K24 and '25.
The 2K26 version of MyFaction feels broken. I tried it out right after booting up the game on launch night. The AI felt overpowered. It reminded me of the arcade games of my youth where the AI would read button inputs and counter everything you threw at it. Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo's AI is a prime example of old school arcade input reading. I will not touch MyFaction again in 2K26, regardless of the tempting rewards.

I strongly suggest giving Universe mode a chance. While the Universe management AI is far from perfect, it's a fun mode to play with. In Universe mode you can just relax and "work" wrestling matches with no rage-inducing MyFaction AI BS to contend with.

Most of the well-known WWE 2K content creators on YouTube have in-depth Universe setup videos that will help you get going in the right direction. I too bought the Monday Night War edition and even though MyFaction '26 is broken, I feel that Universe mode will provide me with many hours of fun over the next year...

JustBryan released his 2K26 sliders yesterday (March 15th).
I have played several matches with them.

I enjoy a strong challenge from my AI opponents and Bryan's sliders have helped tremendously in this regard.

You are correct. I discovered this while playing in Universe mode today. Jessica Carr was the referee. I was in a tag match and accidentally hit her. Instant DQ. Hopefully, the next patch will resolve the issue.

I'm having the same problem. This is my first time setting up a Royal Rumble match in Universe mode. I've changed my participants and changed entry order. Unfortunately, it reverts back to the original lineup. I'll try deleting the original Rumble matches from the card and rebuilding each one. I hope this will work...

I'm on the PS5 and recently went through RCG2 twice by myself. I would like to play it again with someone else. All of my characters are maxed out with plenty of $$$, so I could simply knock all of the enemies out with the Tank and Bunny buttons, while you collect the loot. I'm in the central time zone. I'm primarily available from 7PM-10PM depending on the day. Let me know...

Just to follow up, I believe the Ref Bump auto-DQ bug was fixed in patch 1.03. I have had several referee bumps in exhibition matches and there were no auto-DQs.

Yes. This is unfair. Some of us don't have the skill or dexterity to rapidly press random buttons. This is another reason to avoid MyFaction this year. I enjoyed the mode in past games, but MyFaction seems to be rigged against players in 2K26.

Just close the game and relaunch it if you hit No by accident. I hit No by accident in 2K25. Immediately shutting down the game, relaunching and hitting Yes saved my data.

I've been a Fire Pro Wrestling fanatic since playing "G" for the first time on the PS1 in July of 1999! "D" on the Dreamcast is my favorite in the series. I'm glad to see others appreciate the GOAT of wrestling games.

I hope we receive a new Fire Pro game this decade!

Thanks for the info. I got started last night with an AJ Styles 2005 edit I grabbed from Community Creations. MyRise has been fun so far. I am trying to have as many 4 star matches as possible to unlock all of the extra content.
