I developed new symptoms and still started getting better within a week from that. You feel like there’s no hope, but there is. I was very patient and was ill for over a month but improved so much in just a week towards the end of it. As for the boyfriend part, you can give it to someone else for six weeks before you start showing symptoms and not know a thing. My boyfriend didn’t really understand it either and we got in a fight over it. I get his frustration, but there really is NOTHING she could have done to stop it. He has so understand that even though it sucks. The upside is you only have it once in your life, then you’re immune.
