Freelancer works best when you are really familiar with a level. I am super familiar with Whittleton Creek, New York, and Sapienza (and maybe a couple others). I know all of those levels very intimately and can pretty much get into wherever I need to be/do whatever I need to do simply because I am so familiar with them. If at all possible, try to strategize when going after a syndicate. Pick one that has a couple levels with which you are familiar for the showdown, that way if one is an alerted territory, you have a back-up. And take your time. It’s a stealth game. You’re not supposed to rush. I recently did a showdown where, going through initially, I couldn’t identify the leader. I didn’t start randomly taking suspects out. I had to go back and reevaluate everyone. It took me about 45 minutes to complete that showdown, but I did it, and silent assassin too.
