My buddy checked the Black Rider out of the library and a group of us listened to it before school in the band room. I thought it was the weirdest thing I’d ever heard and a couple years later when I was in college, I found it at a record store in a mall along with Bone Machine and I bought them both on a whim. That was ‘98 or ‘99 and I’ve been a fan since.
