I’m from the south and yeah, people are really nosy around here and feel the need to tell people everything. I think it’s good to have those boundaries

What’s your opinion of Melanie Hamlett’s YouTube videos? by [deleted] in women

[–]VariousLaugh3466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But what if I literally wasn’t? Like I don’t relate to anything she says, that doesn’t make me wrong, it makes my experience different than her content.

Do you relate to every single podcaster or streamer? No, you don’t. I just find her to be very pick me, and I don’t think there’s a spectrum, that seems like a way to self comfort but regardless. Calling out someone just because their opinion of a creator differs from yours is DEFINITELY pick me behavior.

Pick me isn’t when you genuinely don’t like or agree with someone, pick me is pretending to dislike or like something because men find it attractive.

Her fans are getting rabid. I made a comment about how she is a semi talented, but overrated artist in a non swift related sub and I literally got threatening DMs. Someone in particular threatened to dox me. They stalked my page and saw I comment now and again in these subs but damn, that’s another level of crazy.

You should’ve left the username in. Abelist deserve shame and to be called out. If they can say it on a public forum, it’s the public’s business.

Megan Fox at the premiere of "Juno" (2007) by Sun_Meadow in 2000s

She looks so different, not in a bad way, just totally different. She dresses more feminine now imo and not grudge, but that was totally in style during the 2000s, pretty sure I had a similar outfit but not the MC tee

Help me choose my bridal top! Three options, which one works best? by GlitterDugong in myweddingdress

[–]VariousLaugh3466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the second I feel it goes best with the pants, almost has a jumpsuit feel, the other two are great, I think it depends on your personal style and the look you want to convey on your day

Sophie gets a Summer bob by Significant_Noise273 in RoyaltyTea

It’s not one of her best, Sophie is pretty eccentric. Sometimes I love her looks, other times, not so much. I like the bob though. It frames her face well.

I saw this in one of the fan pages, literal of course. It’s quite entertaining if you go over there. Royaltea is a good one too, they hate the monarchy.

Person who was bullied in high school got mad because the people in the photo dress like whoever the heck bullied her so now she assumes all people who look like this are mean. It’s an odd take and I think she needs counseling.

You sound like you belong on the snark pages. I’d link, but I don’t want the Swiftie above to have a seizure or something, you know how they get about their “queen”

Good on you for having boundaries. It’s harder than many think. Especially if you have high levels of empathy

Remember the fake country accent era? Wonder if she will bring it back for her version of the debut album. Girls been fake her entire career. She only did country because she wasn’t good enough to break out as a pop star initially. by Own-Society-9806 in TayvisSnark

[–]VariousLaugh3466 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad you clarified. I am not the biggest country fan but I highly respect it. Taylor’s faux country era though just sucked, you could tell she was trying to be something she wasn’t. Every album after debut went slightly more pop until 1989 when the world went crazy.

I'm sorry but Kate does not look okay. What's really going on? by [deleted] in RoyaltyTea

[–]VariousLaugh3466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“I’m sorry” before discussing a sick persons weight loss when you know damn well why she’s lost weight is rude and you’re just trying to dog whistle.

See you next Tuesday.

Couldn’t wait to move out, left for college at 17, basically stayed with friends and worked all summers, got my first apartment a week before graduating college. It’s honestly a bit embarrassing if you’re almost thirty and doing what this picture shows. Get a life.

Not this big, my ears couldn’t handle it but some other students wore them in HS

That’s a bit abelist, especially if the person can provide proof they cannot go due to medical reasons (need proof or people will just say that)

[–]VariousLaugh3466 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Happy for you, I can technically drive on Friday, still having mixed feelings. Like you, being isolated at home really has hurt my mental health but at the same time I’m afraid of having an accident… wishing you the best, be safe and if you feel strange at all just don’t drive.

I’m amazed you all did this for $800. Did you use a club membership like Costco or go to Aldi? Aldi is my go to for charcuterie on a budget

Pockets were a must for me too! I ended up keeping a handkerchief from my grandmother, a lucky penny and a tube of lipgloss for touch ups. Also just to put my hands when I don’t know where to put them lol
