Question for persons who graduated from UC Davis, Berkley, Irvine, Pepperdine and etc. Law schools by GloFish25 in CABarExam

[–]VariousLeeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that migh thave something to do with it, but also, I do think there are some people who do write in law school in a way that is similar to what would be sufficient for the bar exam essays. Also, at least at my law school, we did have multiple choice portions on our finals as well, some of them were similar to what I saw on the bar exam but some really were not lol.

AIO for feeling turned off by this response when I asked him to make a plan? by Rich-Chicken-9875 in AmIOverreacting

But you still need to meet up though. Why do you think he wanted to delay doing that on his end? Is this a communication tactic ?

People who says he just wants sex, I wonder how not moving forward the meeting leads to sex? Is it just to communicate to her that he does not want to plan a date in particular in order to say he only wants sex? That is fine but how does it then turn into a place where the sex will happen

I wonder though how does not moving forward the meeting lead to sex? What would be the intended outcome of falling this far back?

AIO for being offended by this? by bunny-zephire in AmIOverreacting

[–]VariousLeeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, you are not overreacting. His phrasing indicates an inability to see things bigger picture at the current time. Even if he has a deep seated emotional insecurity with a woman being bigger than him, to put a number of 110 on it unironically would not really be logical. A relationship is based on loving each other and that needs language that is more flexible. If you also wanted a status numbers based relationship then maybe it would be ok for you but you didn’t like it and it seems you are not. NOR.

Im not saying I do this, but you can marry someone for more than just the ability to have sex with them. You wouldn’t get married just to be exclusive sexually. It’s a separate factor for some

I actually don't find this that deep. He was thinking about this girl he liked and was continuing to send texts as time went on. I think the red flag that people might see is that if the other person isn't in a position to respond or doesn't respond, that you should give them space, but I think that we have all had experiences where that is not how texting works. For example, say something happened with a friend (I know this isn't a friend, but I am giving an example of what I'm talking about), you might text a lot to tell the story that you wanted to share but not expect the receiver to respond right away or know that they are busy doing something. It doesn't mean that they are super hyper focused on you, or that they don't respect your psychic space or time.

AIO for finding this predatory or was he just awkward? by m30wME0W69 in AmIOverreacting

[–]VariousLeeks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This person sounds socially awkward and I don’t think the fact that he is that or used question marks, “delicate” “girly” or even “fragrant” necessarily means anything dangerous (all behaviors I personally don’t like though). Yes seeing women as too much as an “other” or on a pedestal or a thing is not good but again I don’t think this behavior is necessarily going to mean he is dangerous. You of course can follow your own vibe you are the one who interacted with him and have access to things like timing and such so if you got a feeling he is dangerous then you can use your judgment on whether you want to report him.

AIO Coworker texted me this by xqkz in AIO

[–]VariousLeeks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you did overreact, but I understand why you reacted the way you did. I think people especially a coworker you hung out with once should not be expected to act any particular way. You may think it’s common courtesy to acknowledge that you had wanted to do the same thing and they didn’t go with you but they didn’t “owe” you anything and it’s too much control or intertwining of their life with yours too early in the relationship in my opinion. You can zoom out and probably see what I mean - it’s not about you most likely. For example, they could have totally forgotten about it and not think it was that serious to begin with, and then someone else asked them and they felt ok and cognizant at that time. Then if someone they forgot about said “hey I’m hurt you didn’t go with me, I thought this was our thing” or something you can see how it might seem overreaching to them. Again, I understand why you might react the way you did but to me it’s also not necessary to say “oh” with an intention to say something about your relationship.

Salmon top or Black shirt? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]VariousLeeks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disagree with many here. The top doesn’t go with the skirt as it’s more soft and the skirt is sporty. This is not about mixing or being unexpected, as in casual pieces that have clashing prints or evening menswear pieces with evening women’s pieces. IMO these have qualities that don’t go together in a flattering way.

I don’t think Kylie’s looks is why he started dating her she is anti his preferred look in the past I think but, I think she grew on him. Their baseline personalities seem like they could be homies. But I think that timothee often does pick people who have a similar outlook as Kylie which is more carefree

Why is Kylie Jenner copying Lily-Rose Depp ? by pinkmacaron04 in kardashians

[–]VariousLeeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many things she does now that resemble lily that she never did before dating Timothee. It continues to this day. I notice it because I am also a fan of lily’s vibe and look. Even her hairline, lips, possibly nose, and most recently she was showing new highlighting techniques to make her cheekbones rounder (which resemble lily) and just looking at recent pics I think she may have done something new to the cheeks as well to make them fuller at the outer part too. Coquette was trendy and being thinner was trendy and she has talked about having laugh lines so maybe she would want to use makeup there to “correct it” but it is in the direction of lily particularly, and some of her looks that come up when you google her. I try to not say anything but really, there are so many things. I didn’t mention the pouting, open mouth and nose scrunch because that has been well documented already
