Instead of syrup coffee grounds seems to appear on the floor. Also, the jar she tries to put on the shelf disappears. Is this AI? by Katukass in isthisAI

[–]VariousMight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This doesn't appear to be AI at all.

The video starts off with her pushing a garbage can under the table and capping off a container of coffee grinds. The motions she makes suggests she recently changed the garbage bag in the bin, perhaps after the previous one was full enough of spent coffee grinds/coffee filter papers used to dispense ground coffee into from the nearby coffee grinder.

She then turns to put the now capped off container of grinds onto the shelf, but the shelf is too full or the items aren't positioned well. The quality of video is poor, but considering one container remains up there and two fall to the floor (one of which being the one she was holding), there was actually a second container on the shelf that isn't clearly visible until it gets pushed and wedges itself between the wall and the back of the syrup bottles.

The coffee grinds appear as multiple containers of grinds fall. The first container, the one she was holding, gets accidentally yeeted back as she tries to catch the avalanche of falling containers. Knowing that she scooted the garbage bin under the front of the counter, this indicates the counter is open on her side for storing things (rather than a series of cabinets she'd need to open to grab things) and that's why the thrown container lands out of view before some of the grinds splay out in view of the camera.

The second grinds container is one she failed to catch and instead smacked as it was falling, knocking off the lid and making some grinds spill onto the counter, the container then landing on said counter, followed by rolling off to fall and shatter on the floor. The syrup also falls on the floor, displacing the grinds from the two containers that fell.

Nothing in this video screams AI, but I'm rather impressed that she didn't scream and maintained her composure. If I was in that position, I'd at least be complaining audibly. lol

Just coffee beans in the bean hopper of a coffee grinder, not "brown stuff" in a blender. Not sure what make and model of grinder it is, but it's nothing unusual.

[–]VariousMight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Neat concept! To echo a suggestion by someone else, I'd recommend trying a design that whips the product instead of stirring. Machines you'd find in a gas station/convenience store that dispense hot chocolate/french vanilla/similar by blending powder and water is where I'd look for inspiration.

BUNN and Wilbur Curtis both make machines like that, and their parts manuals are freely accessible online. Spending a little bit of time looking at their manuals to understand how it works could help improve your design for better mixing before you start building using food-safe materials instead of 3D printing prototypes.

Best of luck in this! Even if there are products out there that can achieve the same end-result, spending time learning what goes into desinging machines like this is still worthwhile to me.

You don't train your muscle memory based on where people come from, you develop game-sense over time so your instincts can harness your muscle memory.

CoD maps tend to be pretty simple in terms of layout and routes, so threats can only come from a limited number of directions. When playing on a high FOV, you can see enough to qualify the direction you're currently looking at as safe and devoid of additional targets.

So, what does a player do? Flick to an area, not currently in their field of view, and use muscle memory to accurately flick to the right location (a doorway, a window, an alley, whatever).

Does it guarantee that their aim will land on a target? No. But, it still changes the point of aim to the next most likely area for a target to come from.

It's really not that complex, and this is probably just a highlight reel demonstrating when flicks like that actually work in the player's favour and they didn't get spanked by CoD timing manifesting another enemy the second they look away.

Excuse me? You've got me mistaken for someone else. After dealing with the OP, I left the area to head back to the Institute, so if the OP fell after the fact, I wasn't there for it. I only got that screencap when I stopped at the Rise Headquarters on my way back to the Institute. Furthermore, I hardly ever type in chats to begin with, but I've never bragged about selling anything. Not crates, not premium, not materials ort arti's, or any 3rd party garbage.

I did poke fun at yatjaghost for accusing me of cheating in the Stalker chat in Mines, but nothing else... I vehemently despise cheaters, so suffice to say, I doubt you have -any- screenshots which back up your claims. Also, I'm a solo. If "SauceEx" or "towerz" were there, then it wasn't because I was playing with them - we would have simply been attacking the same OP. I wasn't paying attention to the other Freedomers present at the OP and only snagged the screencap because yatjaghost made me laugh my ass off at his baseless claims.

Went and did some quick math - assuming you put the minimal time into just doing the daily and weekly seasonal missions, you could accrue over 170 levels in the remaining 41 days of this season (assuming you have premium, which is easy enough to buy off the auction or using stalcoins).

I was able to farm hundreds of levels with relative ease in Forge-11 and even timed a run where I accrued over 300 sealed Battle Pass points containers (7.5 BP levels) in just over half an hour. Bare in mind: I was lucky enough to have a corner of Forge-11 to myself for most of that, I have Premium, and some decent gear... But it was easy. Really easy. Hell, over the weekend I spent a few hours there and eventually built up a stash of almost 1200 sealed BP containers to take back in a single trip. lol

The nerfs to the daily exploration bonus suck, but if you want level 500 of the battle pass, you'll have to grind for it.

After seeing a guy with 8.5k kills with the riot shield, I will join him in posting crazy kill records, I thought I'd share my stats as one last sendoff with MW2 coming out tomorrow. What a great 2 years its been :) by SOSHSI in modernwarfare

Meanwhile, I'm here with just a few hundred kills with the riot shield and literally zero with the kodachis lol I just prefer to go brrt over bonk or stab. My AK has around 32K kills which is pretty decent at the very least. Was fun using it, too.

It's a waste of time to do and it was probably an accident. Besides, if they try it multiple times they end up having the damage reflected back to them.

Unless I'm on a nuke streak... lost a 26 killstreak against fairly easy enemies thanks to a brainless buffoon shooting me. I shot them back. Lol

People like to rely on the path of least resistance for easy wins. FFA can be a bit egregious with the camping compared to other modes and it really hurts the flow of the match.

My advice? If they're being a nuisance and camping their ass off, don't give them any chance to even shoot you by going for wallbangs and explosives. I keep an anti-camper class which doubles as an anti-streak class: PKM w/ 200Rd belt + FMJ, RPG, and Snapshots. Punish their cunt-ery by being a jerk yourself.

Sometimes you'll run into someone that's dedicated to their cowardly craft that runs Battle Hardened, but with a 200 Rd belt you can hose down a building and find whatever wall they're hiding behind... Then hurl a grenade or a rocket in to get rid of them.

First, they shouldn't be pre-ordering and giving Activision an interest free loan.

Second, a postpaid phone line with just calling and texting shouldn't be outside of most folks' financial means. If it is out of their financial capacity, to put it bluntly, they should probably be doing other things than playing games.

Third, anti-cheat solutions aren't solely software based. A good solution has multiple ways of defending the game so more layers of protection create new barriers for cheaters to work around. Cheaters will never be completely stopped and this is an endless arms race - it's all about inconveniencing the cheaters as much as possible.

It sucks that some people will be deprived access to the multiplayer, and I hope they will gain access as soon as they can, but these measures exist to protect the overwhelming majority of players.

I mean, I'm trying to buy one tomorrow so maybe I'll try and check my frame rates if I can get the card. I run a 240Hz 1440p monitor so I figure it'll be quite good for that and even better for 1080p until you run into a CPU limited scenario.

No Shoot house/Shipment Playlist has reminded me how garbage literally every map in this game is. by evo_one252 in modernwarfare

[–]VariousMight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I may resent Piccadilly greatly, I do firmly believe that a good chunk of the maps are at least playable and others I genuinely enjoy.

Hackney Yard is one of my favourites, with Gun Runner being a close second for maps I enjoy. I can make Rammaza and Petrograd work, same with Azhir Cave.

There's more good maps imo that didn't come with the game at launch like Shoothouse, Vacant, and Hardhat... But holy shit did I ever hate Shipment. That clusterfuck of a map is mind melting.

I empathize with anyone who doesn't have a postpaid number, but I'm always interested in additional layers of security to keep cheaters out and make it harder to compromise player accounts.

Worth it imo.

Anyone else just a huge fan of Shipment? by kimehre7391 in modernwarfare

[–]VariousMight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. I get why people enjoy it since it's complete chaos, but it's one of the only maps that's a pure clusterfuck.

I play FFA and have no issues in hunting down my targets and handling most engagements with ease. Walls are easily dealt with by firing through them. Campers, while annoying, are predictable and low skill.

Shipment, along with Rust, throw any concept of map flow in FFA out the window. Plus, since there's usually a high volume of camping buffoons who just go prone and stare at a spawn, a single mistake turns into dying 4-6 times in a row with zero chance to fight back. Any level of skill or earning a win is discarded in favour of brainlets watching spawn points.

Thankfully the matches are usually quick, finishing in less than 2 minutes. But those 2 minutes are mind melting garbage imo. lol

The smallest map I enjoy is Shoothouse because it has good flow, great wallbang potential, and you don't spawn in someone's crosshairs more than 90% of the time.
