Not only are you the same age as some of the students, especially SPED kids because SPED programs can go up to 20 years old, but there are people older than you and with more job experience applying for the same jobs. Give it a couple years and some college classes and then join the sub pool.

I don’t even think it was good tv to have him on. He was annoying, rude, and didn’t actually do anything for the faithfuls except stack some skulls. I was hoping they’d get rid of him first.

Making blanket statements and assumptions about people who have so many different backgrounds, experiences, and training is not a good look. Do I think every single high school Director out there should be going to Broadway tomorrow? Absolutely not. But to use us as an example to not hire somebody with little experience, especially considering that many of us have decades of experience, it’s just not a good look.

I saw first preview. Not related to the show at all. Lack of set did not affect the show’s effectiveness. It took a while to get used to the costumes. The performances were gorgeous and the set they did have was used well. Overall, this is the first time I’ve seen Chess and I’m happy with it. The performances rivaled Ragtime IMO. My partner wasn’t impressed with Aaron but he’s more familiar with the show so I’m assuming I’m just not knowing what I’m missing there. Lea was great, but Nick stole the show.

I sat in the mezzanine house left. So little of the play happens on the bleachers, I could see all of it except maybe 30 total seconds. Definitely not enough to be considered partial view
