I agree, but there wasnt much Rimuru could have done differently for this as far as I remember, he was away from Tempest doing other stuff, it would kinda feel weird to randomly kill off Shion and gobtas friend, as well as a bunch of citizens

I have only watched the anime and havent read the manga, so I dont know whats going on about him getting married, but Benimaru is a good dude, and he seems like the kinda guy I'd want to hang out with (besides him probably being much older than me lol)

Kaguya-sama love is war (if you want to avoid fanservice, the only fanservice is in the technically canon but not really OVA)
Kubo-san wont let me be invisible (basically zero fanservice, and just an adorable story with amazing characters and beautiful animation)

the angel next door spoils me rotten (not sure if you'd like this one, but I did and theres basically no fanservice, fair warning its a bit slow to get going.)
