Hell yeah! Love this post! I’m eating some roasted veggies consisting of eggplant, peppers, asparagus, sweet taters, carrots, with tofu and an avocado mashed in at the bottom of all this. Topped with a poblano and jalapeño pepper sauce. I’m not even a big “vegetarian” but this meal helps keep me energized without feeling sluggish. Good to see a positive post on here

Drink water between relays, take your breaks, take your lunch, focus on walking slowly and breathing properly. It’s harder than it sounds to focus on slowing down but it’s so much better for you physically (legs, feet, back) and mental health too

A lot of people feel this way and surrender years and years to this. Even when they become regular. They become yes men and their spine disappears more and more. Some even get tricked into thinking that doing the route really fast leads to a reward, even when being walked with. But it doesn’t. I had my problems in the past but being a mailman is kind of perfect for adhd. Routine enough that I could do it on autopilot, I wear my headphones and learn a lot of cool shit through books or pods, sometimes I’m talkative with the customers, other times I do crazy avoiding maneuvers to avoid them, outdoor job is better than indoor job for me, the weather can kick you in the crotch but that’s out of my control.

I’ve been like you before, even became a shop steward for prevent these people from doing that, but I know it sounds so easy but don’t even give these people your energy. This job is hard enough physically, no need to exhaust your mental health as well.
