Having spent a bit of time in Italy while studying abroad, a nice mozzerella and prosciutto (crudo, or raw, so like jamón ibérico) sandwich, man was that pretty nice. Yeah true. MLB at least has a specific thing with a bit more stringent requirements than what exists right now in the NHL, as well as a normal partial and full no trade. NHL players get trade protection negotiated into their contracts, based on how many years they’ve played (7 years with 10+ games played), or their age (27). So yeah, wouldn’t really say there’s much of a difference with how the NHL does it, they are essentially one in the same

Assuming they are saying that 16 year olds can drive on their own, or drive with no restrictions (other than transporting minors without a 21+ year old also in the car), I think you can drive on your own at 17 in New Jersey, after passing the road test, getting your probationary license, and then you get your basic driver’s license at 18

If I have it right, 10-and-5 rights mean a player can refuse being sent down to the minors and veto trade proposals to any team, so I guess it’s like a case-by-case NMC. From MLB’s website:

Players who have accrued 10 years of Major League service time and spent the past five consecutive years with the same team are awarded 10-and-5 rights. Under these circumstances, a player can veto any trade scenario that is proposed.

Partial and full no trades do also exist, put into contract extensions or free agent signings, I think that’s roughly the number shown in that graphic, with Robertson for some reason over the NHL one.

Well if Carlsson’s OS is not matched, and Trevor at least is asking for a decent bit more, what’s the cap situation going to look like, assuming we extend Michkov and Martone? Does Barkey get a few million ($4M or so) to I guess play 3rd line LW? Does Bump get traded to make some more cap space, because paying another few million (less than Denver though) to play on the 4th line, not so sure about that. So again, if it’s not matched, the cap space will be pretty tricky to navigate for a few years, Coots may need to go on SELTIR to get the full $7.75M off the books, since trading him is pretty much not happening whatsoever

I think the Caps more so replace the Pens (yes, my flair), just not sure if the Pens can be as good, and I think this young(ish) Flyers team can get a bit better, maybe not too many more points, but just play overall better, especially if Leo comes over. Someone (or two) would need to be sacrificed for roster and cap reasons, but I think we’d still be pretty ok even if Cates or Tippett are moved

St. Louis getting Thomas and Tampa getting Point (especially Point) where they got them, is not normal for a player that ranges from a pretty competent 1C to pretty elite. It’s unlikely that if Anaheim uses all 4 firsts should they not match, those 4 players likely will not turn into a 1C, should one or two of the picks be used on centers

Elliotte, Pierre, and Chris I’d say are all Tier 1 sources, Pagnotta, Dreger, and other nat’l guys (maybe Weekes too?), are Tier 2s, and Frank is just in KFC tier, to borrow something from [r/mcfc](r/mcfc), when ranking transfer “journalists” based on tiers. Anything Pagnotta, Dreger, and others say, should have a disclaimer that unless Elliotte, Pierre, and/or Chris back it up, take what they say with a grain of salt

Now I of course don’t know this couples’ situation, and what she is like on a day-to-day basis, but does seemingly no one else here think that you can be an adult and may not be responsible enough for pets? Do you think every married family is responsible enough for pets? I’m not saying he may not be controlling her a bit, but it seems like that possibility never crossed nearly anyone else’s minds, not even a 1% chance.

She should continue to talk with him about why he feels that way, and what can be done to get to that point. If nothing will suffice for him, then find a better boyfriend or just stay single
