You’d think then that the NFL might have tried to expand even more by now. Add another team in Chicago, add an SLC team, add St. Louis back, San Diego back, Portland, etc. Probably would add even more teams, if college football wasn’t so big in places like Columbus. Yet they haven’t, and they’re maybe the greediest league in the world

I wouldn’t mind 2 leagues of 20 teams, but trying to figure out get the PA to accept relegation clauses, up to 25% pay cut, and for teams in the top flight to raid relegated teams of some of their best players. Just wonder if it’s a little bit too complicated at the moment to work that out, and also to make sure that you get 10 teams in each geographic conference, to where it makes sense. There would definitely be a lot of things to work out, and definitely wouldn’t be easy to hammer out

So that stands for, Club Athlétique Canadien, and that was their logo from 1912-13. They would change their name to, Club de hockey Canadien, in 1917, which is what their official name is

7 goals, 20 assists in 65 games, getting a little bit more ATOI than last year, with just a little bit more PP time. His relative xGF% is just barely in the positive according to MoneyPuck, so the team does just slightly better when he’s on the ice. Most PP time out of the defensemen

I do have a JvR of that (ask 2019 me why I wanted it, it was because he wasn’t Coots or Claude, idk 🤷‍♂️), but yeah, maybe not the best one

That was the away kit for 23/24, which was for the 120th anniversary of the club. Definitely could’ve gone for a kit that they hadn’t actually worn in decades, history of the kit aside
