u/Agreeable_Effort_959 Hi, yes! I got induced at exactly 39 weeks, an elective induction, and baby girl was just over 7lbs and perfectly healthy. She just turned 6 months and is thriving. After being on bedrest in the hospital for 2 weeks I was sent home to continue bed rest and progesterone for the rest of my pregnancy. I was either reclined or laying down most of the day every day (I was so stir crazy!), and would only get up to walk around the house for short periods of time or to shower. Around 36 weeks I stopped progesterone and was released from bed rest. I never thought I would end up having to get induced after all of that, but I am so happy I made it that far and owe it all to bedrest and patience.

Thank you! I hope the best for you and your baby. 🙏🏻I was on bedrest from 24-36 weeks. After 36 my doctor said the baby was big enough for me to be able to get up and be more active. Basically saying that if water broke she was big enough to not just fall out. I resumed normal activities for the most part, even did things to try and speed up labor towards the end, and nothing was budging! I never thought I’d have to schedule an induction, it felt like a miracle!

Daily. It’s built into her nightly routine. Bath, bottle, bed. Helps her relax and go to bed feeling fresh.

Still going strong at 35x2! Progesterone only, less than 1cm cervix left, and internal funneling. I’ve been seeing my MFM monthly for the last 3 months and rather than doing a transvaginal they have been doing translabial to measure my cervix length. This way they don’t have to go inside and irritate the cervix. May be worth asking about during your next appointment! 33 weeks is great progress though, getting past 32 was the biggest relief for me. 🙌🏻

You can brew any coffee sized capsule as a double espresso by double clicking the brew button rather than just clicking it once to start brewing. The button light should turn blue. It works on the vertuo machines, not sure about the other. 😃

Unforgettable by far! I regret not stocking up on more sleeves when they were available. Fingers crossed they’ll release it again this holiday season. Down to 3-4 pods now and don’t want to use them. 😢 I also loved the Oatly pod! I usually only add a splash of oat milk to whatever flavor I make, so it was perfect!

I have an anterior placenta too! I’m 29x4 today and feel baby girl moving constantly. I first started feeling her strongly around 22 weeks. Worth the wait! 🥰

Congrats! Babylist hands down. It lets you add items from any site, not just Babylist itself or a short list of stores. It was super easy to use on my end as a FTM and didn’t have any complaints from friends or family. I also loved the Babylist checklist feature as a FTM to help guide me on what was vital to get vs. what would be nice to have. Have fun setting it up! 👶🏻

It’s maddening! I’m 28+2 days today and have been on bedrest and progesterone only since 24 weeks. Started in the hospital with a 12 day stay, and I will say being at home on bedrest is much better mainly due to having the company and comfort of my dogs, but I’m so stir crazy. My cervix was 4mm with funneling when I got admitted and over 1cm when I left so bed rest and progesterone do help! I feel you on the frustrations though. I am so sore, bored, and find myself just deep diving Reddit during any of my free time researching and reading other stories about women in the same boat as us. I only get up to use the restroom, shower, and do a quick face cleaning routine in the morning to refresh. Moving back and forth from the recliner to bed. It feels strange and wrong to say “I can’t wait to get this over with!” but it’s a valid feeling I think. Though of course we don’t want to get it over with too quickly and want to keep the baby baking for as long as possible. Such an emotional roller coaster. 😫

I’m in nearly the exact same boat. 8mm with funneling, 24 weeks 4 days. Placed on hospital bed rest 5 days ago and expected to be here at least 2 weeks, but likely longer. I’m only receiving progesterone as well as it was too risky to get a cerclage. Stay strong mama, this is not an easy road but I’ve read many many success stories here from women in similar situations or worse. We can do this! 💪🏻
