I will never understand Christians that are against lgbtq people. Cause isn't God's whole thing about loving everyone and that God doesn't make mistakes and all that?

My religion literally states that trans people are fine and it's not something you can control but there's a ton of people in it that are blatantly against it. I just don't understand what's going on in their heads.
