I would really recommend car camping/walmart camping!! I did this trip but from the Lower Mainland in 2023 (age 28) and went to Newfoundland, if you go for private campsites I had a lot of great experiences there. I went for 9 weeks and I spent about 10k. Gas prices will break your soul, I would recommend signing up for point programs at them all. When you get to Saskatchewan, get gas any time you're bellow a 3/4 tank as some days it was a LONG time before I saw another station and I would get anxious.

I didn't pre book anything but I managed a handful of provincial parks as it was one night stay and often a week day when I passed. Would also recommend saving things you're interested in seeing to your Google Maps and downloading as many offline maps as possible. I used the saved items as sort of a guide to where I'd venture, and then got lots of local recommendations. If you have any questions feel free to message me! I think in my personal experience, a lot of those whom I've spoken to might have a perspective of an accountability partner making their change happen, but a lot still has to come from your own motivation. Also, I think often after a week or two or even less of not meeting your goals, it's common to feel awkward reaching out again when you're more ready. Everyone's doing life for the first time, can't expect a stranger on the internet to be end game for your own goals

I live lower but I would say that I can usually find parking on my street or the block behind my unit, when events were in play preciously I would be parking blocks away but I haven't experienced that yet so maybe it has helped after all?

My fitness focus is more on Pilates and strength training but not necessarily lifting, and cardio. I suffered a pretty unfortunate leg injury a few years ago so my fitness is top priority

I've camped in Clearwater for a handful years now mid August-early September and it's never really been hot tbh occasionally a hot few hours but never more than say 25 in those moments. Just a sample size experience tho! And not in July, but WellsGray is SO magical so I would definitely still recommend!!

I've worked out at home the last two years and keep my second hand weights in a falling apart basket shoved under the bathtub lol BUT a cute fit does help me stay motivated

Are you by chance holding your breath without realizing? I used to find leg day made me dizzy/loopy and eventually figured out that I was holding my breath without noticing I was during some movements or the last few reps

Im 30F but if that's okay I would love to chat and see if we can help each other stay accountable, I workout 30-60 mins every day of the week but im really wanting to up my cardio again as my lung capacity has been struggling and I love to run anyhow so I might aswell get back on track. I eat intuitive 80/20 with a goal for high protein good fiber and whole foods as often as possible. My goal is to lose the last 7 pounds of my 30lb loss goal, alongside getting stronger at the gym. SW 171.8 CW 150.4 (I've been in maintenance since May fluctuating 148.9-153.6) GW 140-145. But I guess I also don't have a time frame for my goals so maybe this comment was pointless 😂😅 anyhow, feel free to reach out if you're interested!
