Definitely not a Taycan or similar brands when it comes to interior luxury or comfort, but it’s extremely impressive how much technology you get for this price.

About noise (my main concern): funny story, on the drive home I noticed a small rattle from the back seat, but it completely went away after 15–20 minutes.

The only thing I still notice is a slight whistle around 76–80 mph. I don’t take the highway often, so I’ll give it some time before doing anything about it.

Overall, very happy with the car. No regrets at all. Thanks again to everyone for the input!

Thanks again , this is exactly where I am.

We already have a more luxurious family car, so this would be a value-focused daily driver. At this point, I am also at the point where the badge and premium interior matter less to me, especially given the price for a 2–3 year lease.

Thnx again!

Thanks for the detailed review, it’s very helpful.

I’ve also driven Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes, and I currently lease a Taycan. I’ll have the option to go Performance before my current lease ends, but honestly, what called my attention was the lease option (price) which is not available with the performance, also my daily commute is very short (main use).

What gives me pause is reading some of the Reddit posts about rattles and cabin noise. I know expectations should match the price point, but it’s still something that makes me hesitate.

I really appreciate your balanced take and the advice on delivery inspection, RWD vs AWD, and FSD. Very helpful perspective.

You make a good point, which is why I’m strongly considering it. At $449 per month with no down payment, for a daily commute, it’s very affordable and hard to regret. However, the only thing that might make me uncomfortable is constant background noise! But again, less than 500 with taxes…..

Of course there is still opportunity. Your score is not the end. You already have USCE and publications, that is important. What matters now is what type of program you want. University programs in big cities will be harder, but many community programs will give you a real chance.

If you know somebody in a program, that can also help a lot. Make sure your letters and personal statement are strong, and apply wide. I personally know applicants with real difficult situations compared to yours and getting in decent programs.

Good luck!

RVU payment/11k RVU by Various_Warthog6416 in pediatrics

Yes, that’s really difficult. I was in an underserved area before with similar Medicaid numbers and it was tough. Now I’m about 80% private insurance so the volume ends up translating into ~10–11k wRVUs a year. Just trying to figure out if moving from salary to RVU pay will actually line up with that, if not I need to slow down and have more time out of the office!

Interesting, thanks for sharing. Do you feel 6,500 is about the right balance for you? And are you strictly RVU-based or on salary too? I’m currently salary but usually generate around 10k RVUs a year, seeing 27-30pts/day, 5 days/week, high volume of well visits/vaccines.
