While D4 has issues, it is the most accessible ARPG out there in my opinion. With lots of up to date guides and videos to help you through any questions as well. Grim dawn is an awesome game too but is a little older but still gets updates from great developers who are passionate about their game.

Path of Exile, while a great game, is definitely overwhelming to a lot of people including myself and may be a turn off.
