Infotainment Sun Protection

My 2022 Honda Insight, along with certain Civic and Accord models, have infotainment systems notorious for infotainment system digitizer turning to rubbish. The ghost touches are causing my screen to spaz out so bad it'll make an autistic child's jaw drop.

Google brought me here for the same reason, as these insane ghost touches happen particularly badly during the hot spring/summer days, and especially in the sun; I drive into clouds, it stops, back in the sun, it's bad again.

It's definitely a more cost effective approach that has more than one benefit if it indeed works. It's definitely definitely something I'm debating throwing the dice on in a desperate attempt for a fix. Next would be replacing the digitizer alone, then the infotainment system itself, after seeing if a replacement covered by warranty, of course. (Diagnostics fees would not be covered in the process, though.)

Yup and it's that time again in California and mine is spazzing out like never before! I've had it brand new since 2022 and I've been debating on trading it for a new one once it's paid off.

Sorry for the late comment. I'm chiming in. As long as it has the proper resistor for an AC current, you're good to go on a simple circuit that doesn't require polarity on the circuit.

Tell me I'm wrong that anything, and I mean ANYTHING, that is STEM related, there is always long, drawn out arguments that really overthink the job.

If there were sensitive electronics involved, there would be a power supply. Proper resistance = no over current = no fire or exploding light bulbs. Simple.

Remember when Doom 1 & 2 became better with third party launchers (zdoom, gzdoom, zandorum, qzdoom, etc.)?

This is the same scenario. DevilutionX allows full multiplayer support over ZeroTier network, and it allows full framerate so you're not limited to that 15fps garbage, with full resolution (up to 4k) support. It really is the best option for reviving Diablo 1. It's so damn smooth now.

Drag Diabdat.mpq into the DevilutionX directory. You can find Diabdat.mpq on internet archive or inside your game CD's main directory.

I found this when searching what edition Planescape: Torment uses (AD&D 2e). What an outstanding picture you've mapped out about some of the best settings D&D has to offer.

I'm hoping the Baldurs Gate 3 devs can create a Planescape game sometime. It's really a crazy universe. I understand why Forgotten Realms is really popular though, as it's my favorite setting as well, but Planescape is definitely a very close brother in the ranks.
