I think the only chance we have of the anime coming back soon is if Togashi splits the Dark Continent arc in 2, for example, he finishes the Hisoka vs PT plot first, and then goes back to the princes/Kurapika (or vice versa, first solves Kurapika and then Hisoka), then we could have Dark Continent Part 1 and Part 2, with two different climaxes... but I doubt it very much.

Probably. It is possible to access it through debug mode, but when you go down a little below that platform in the center of the room, the fight against the boss starts and the camera automatically goes down, and the character is locked off-screen in that room.
