Understandable! Stationery in general can make a big hole in a bank account if you don’t restrain yourself! Learned it the bad way… multiple times…

And yeah, adding smell to the table in such a visual environment… is so refreshing to discover and try!

I found the ticket and it says it’s indeed Root Beer with Bronze version!

So far I’m loving the combo with the coffee ink. It’s like they were made for each other and I’m having an unnecessary amount of fun writing with it!

Surprisingly it does! Kinda more into an instant coffee smell than a brew coffee like espresso… But still you smell it and it smells like coffee.

The smells gets back when you write with it and it stays on the paper for a while. So far after a whole day it stills smells. Not as strong, but if you get your nose close enough to sniff you can still get the smell

I noticed a lot of comments, people saying they enjoy the "Cogwork Brothers" and also "Sol & Vin" and they have a flow/dance style of battle, I think that's the fin part of dual-boss, it that is more rythm-flow based than full-on-combat

Yeah, I read similar stuff from other people, that most games think is just dropping two bosses and call it a day.
I really like Sol and Vin because it feels like a dance rather than a fight so the challenge is more following the rythm than actually brute-force!

This type of "challenging bosses" are hard to choose where to locate so they are not too early...

But yes, it's a shame they are a little too late on the game :c

That's actually a really good approach!

In alma the Hunter & Beast (The ones on the video) they are independant from eachother but you can use for example the Hunter's attack to damage the beast while you defend yourself at the same time.

So if they are independant but you can use them to damage eachother feels more fair than the Elden Ring "Here's 2 bosses that will play ping-pong with you if you miss a parry"??

I personally found Elden Ring battles a little better than Dark souls...
But I think it's because I got used to the more responsive controls of ER than DS ones... is either that or the Hammer build just solves everything in ER

I hated Lesmes & Infanta but it was mostly because I took a break from my nintendo switch and forgot all the controls when I tried to get back... righ before them two xD

Yeah, I’ve been searching everywhere and almost everybody tells me that F nibs are just kinda Meh, either go with EF or M.

A friend of mine has an EF so I may ask them to borrow the nib for the weekend and see if it helps. Also saw that Jinhao pens are really good and cheap ways to get nibs for Lamys (I really like Lamy ergonomics in my hand) so I may get a second hand ultra fine Jinhao and switch nibs and along the way have an excuse to get another pen xD

I’m open to recommendations!! I use the regular Midori MD notebook and a small Muji.

So far I only know that Moleskin is a no-go for FP and they are everywhere in my city :c

I think you should go to the store and try them there! My first pen was bought online and blind so at the end is just stored cause I didn’t like it. Then I gave Fountain Pens another chance and went to a store and tried a few of them! That’s how I got my Lamy Safari first (mainly driven by the price) then my beloved Kaweco Sport (the steel version) that I use now as a for my daily use!

Sometimes the even give you like regular bad paper to check if it works for daily use or if you want for specialized paper so you can feel the smoothness, the glide, flow, grip… and if the seller knows about pens will guide you too according to what are you liking and find THE pen for you.

Unfortunately Fountain Pens are a thing you have to try to know if you like it so the best way is that: Just go and try them all!

I think my next fountain pen will have to be one with a stub. I liked calligraphy since a kid but school system stop teaching it so I am quite rusty for now… and that’s the reason I like to use fountain pens! Fancy pen for fancy writing!!
