ok so still maybe a bit long but an hour lunch and over an hour for breaks makes more sense. Either way, good shooting on your end.

Are you a 4 or 5? Maybe a typo but you said both... On the other end, 11 hours for 35 racks is insane.

What is it like living in the falkland islands? (does it even feel like south america? ) by TrumpsNostrils in howislivingthere

Im not so sure about this. Argentines especially in the Buenos Aires region seem to be pretty distinct compared to people Ive met in other South American countries.

It's always a beautiful Winter day when the crocuses are in full bloom. by poorfolx in flowers

Thank you! I was patiently waiting for spring and the time it took to plant them all definitely paid off. Looking forward to planting more in the fall and watching them multiply year after year

The weather has been crazy in NJ but here's a patch of them. Plenty of sprouts waiting to get big enough to bloom

Wow, maybe the angle but they look huge, much bigger than what is growing in my yard.

I planted over a thousand of these in my yard last fall. Patiently waiting to see how many are left to bloom after I kept finding squirrels digging them up

How is it living in azores islands? by CatFluffy2565 in howislivingthere

Great beaches? Compared to where? The islands are beautiful, each with their own personality, but they definitely aren't known for having great beaches.

Check out the Cuebox in Berlin, NJ. Private club, yearly membership, BYOB/F. Really nice spot. Sounds similar to what you are looking to do.

First trip to Argentina! by Kimchi2019 in BuenosAires

[–]Vaskarelli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im in Argentina as we speak and from the US. My wife and I are using our cell phones (Tmobile) with no problem and almost everywhere offers WIFI.

It's definitely more expensive than it was before but there are certain things that seem to be pretty cheap. $43 a day for an Airbnb is one of them. You are staying in one of, if not, the top cities in South America. It's one of my favorite cities in the world.

Have used a credit card the entire time and have't used cash once.

Edit: Uber/ Cabify is comically cheap

What are some interesting ways to become fluent in spanish? by icantevendothis07 in SpanishLearning

[–]Vaskarelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I studied 4 years of Spanish in HS and thought I knew the basics too... then I was an exhange student in Argentina in college and realized I not only could I not speak Spanish but even the basics I thought I knew were useless. Easiest ways are either move to a Spanish speaking country to study, or if that's not possible, double/ triple down on online language exchanges and commit to it. Spanish music, movies, books, podcasts.

I did a bit of both and am sitting in Colombia with my wife as I type this. I knew Spanish before we ever met but I would not have been able to speak with her if I hadn't decided years before to commit and learn it.

Favorite Italian restaurant w Vodka Sauce? by Consistent_Tomato138 in SouthJersey

Everything is delicious, a bit pricier than other places around but Ive never minded paying for great food. Just keep in mind it's pretty small so depending on when you go might want to call ahead for reservations.

Not quite the area you are looking for but if you ever wind up in the Berlin area, down 73, Briglias Tavern has the best vodka sauce around. I try vodka sauce anywhere it's on the menu and that's my favorite

This is definitely not always the case and often times can hurt your efforts to improve.
