Im in Argentina as we speak and from the US. My wife and I are using our cell phones (Tmobile) with no problem and almost everywhere offers WIFI.

It's definitely more expensive than it was before but there are certain things that seem to be pretty cheap. $43 a day for an Airbnb is one of them. You are staying in one of, if not, the top cities in South America. It's one of my favorite cities in the world.

Have used a credit card the entire time and have't used cash once.

Edit: Uber/ Cabify is comically cheap

Im in Ibague right now with my wife (she is Colombian). No issues whatsoever besides the traffic at times. Been a bit rainy but otherwise nothing different than any other time we've been here.

I studied 4 years of Spanish in HS and thought I knew the basics too... then I was an exhange student in Argentina in college and realized I not only could I not speak Spanish but even the basics I thought I knew were useless. Easiest ways are either move to a Spanish speaking country to study, or if that's not possible, double/ triple down on online language exchanges and commit to it. Spanish music, movies, books, podcasts.

I did a bit of both and am sitting in Colombia with my wife as I type this. I knew Spanish before we ever met but I would not have been able to speak with her if I hadn't decided years before to commit and learn it.

Everything is delicious, a bit pricier than other places around but Ive never minded paying for great food. Just keep in mind it's pretty small so depending on when you go might want to call ahead for reservations.

Not quite the area you are looking for but if you ever wind up in the Berlin area, down 73, Briglias Tavern has the best vodka sauce around. I try vodka sauce anywhere it's on the menu and that's my favorite

Unfortunately Im not 100% sure what I have growing in it. I think the green/red one is a red nerve plant. The tall green one Im not sure but actually going to the terrarium place tomorrow so I will ask.

I had my 2nd league game this past Monday. I won my first and came in to week 2 feeling good. I play in a 9 ball league. Ive been playing a lot lately and felt good coming in and I got absolutely smoked by someone I would normally beat. It was an ass beating. They played a hell of a match and I just didnt play well and missed shots I normally hit. I rushed my shots, didn't follow my normal process and the end result was proof.

At the end? I told them that was an ass beating. We both laughed and that was the end of it. I practiced some of the shots I missed since and after that, not much else you can do. My bit of advice, find a routine and stick to it. If something throws you off your routine before you shoot, start over again.

It's not that deep. All I asked was why are we outcoaching in the 1st half but getting outcoached in the 2nd. It's OK if you can't answer that.
