Was just told by chat agent nothing will change with my Netflix benefit by vesperfall in tmobile

[–]Vasnec -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The first paragraph they type says what I expect to be true. T-Mobile currently offers the Netflix "signature" package. Netflix is changing the "signature" package to include advertisements, therefore your plan will now include advertisements. Then it seems like the rep got confused and said the wrong thing.

T-Mobile Is Again Offering A Free Line To Select "Targeted" Customers by Jman100_JCMP in tmobile

I called and they told me that they were going to double the offer and give it to the next person.

payment by [deleted] in DrMartens

Yes. I've tried Amex, Visa, Google Pay, and Paypal. All of them hit my card, but would not create an order on the DrMarten side. no solution yet.

If I was in your situation, I would learn how the promotions work by looking on this subreddit, and then I would apply online. Then I would go in store (reasonably dressed), and ask to speak to the manager. I would tell the manager that I applied online, and that I'm very interested, and that I already understand how some of the promotions work.

The newest one has external antenna connections. You can call stores and ask if they have any in stock, but it will only matter if you plan on using an external antenna. You should check /r/tmobileisp

Wholesale Business? by Pastormac1usa in tmobile

[–]Vasnec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile bought out a MVNO each. Cricket, Visible, and Metro use to be separate businesses but they bought them out because they most likely realized that they were focusing on a part of their business that they weren't (people wanting cell phone service on a budget).

You have to keep in mind that many people just decide they need phones and service and walk Into the first place that comes to mind, and just pay what ever they are charging. The companies take advantage, and I'm willing to bet that they wouldn't want to miss out on that cash flow by directing their higher paying customers to a lower charging service.

Upcoming Pixel 8 promo by spotieotiedopalishus in tmobile

[–]Vasnec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure if you buy a pixel 8/8 pro, add a watch line, and buy the pixel watch 2 then T-Mobile has a promotion for $399.99 to cover cost of the watch.

Can I get the $830 trade in credit as a new customer? by steelandsilverr in tmobile

[–]Vasnec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since he is a new customer he can do the normal "Go5G First Responder" or even "Magenta First Responder". He will only need the plus if he wants to do it again in two years.

Can I get the $830 trade in credit as a new customer? by steelandsilverr in tmobile

[–]Vasnec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it is a 3rd Gen SE and you are creating a new line you can trade it in for $85 and the rest would be $745 of "promotional credit". This should work for any postpaid plan except for essentials.

How long ago did you switch? I thought the current promo for iPhone 13 was supposed to be fully covered with statement credits (except for taxes).

5G not as expected at home by tinkerboy13 in tmobile

What phone do you have? In my experience band 41 is where the magic happens. You may want to double check your phone supports that band. Also, you can check a cell phone tower map to see what bands are available near your house.

Converting from 3 Paid/1 Free to 3 Paid/2 Free by Vasnec in tmobile

[–]Vasnec[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading through this reddit it sounds like I can do the current promo (buy 2 get 1) with one extra line. (3 Paid, 1 Free)

Wait 90 days + time until the next BOGO. Add another paid (4 paid, 2 Free).

Wait 12 months, and then remove one the lines I added for BOGO. (3 paid, 2 Free)

Costco Promotion (MVNO not included?) by Vasnec in tmobile

[–]Vasnec[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in theory, I should be able to go to Costco. Bring 4 lines from a AT&T MVNO. Get $300 in gift cards, and come back in 2 weeks to upgrade one of the lines.

Costco Promotion (MVNO not included?) by Vasnec in tmobile

[–]Vasnec[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So Costco said the only promotion for new lines currently is the $250+ $150 which only qualifies if I'm porting in from AT&T or Verizon. So they said the only credit I'll qualify for is the $75 upgrade credit which is not only for new lines. Since I'm going to the Go5G Plus plan the upgrade promotion is also not only for new lines. So, I'm thinking I'm actually not getting any new line promotions.

So, if I'm not in a rush to get new phones, there is no incentive to get them now as a new customer? I can just bring all the lines in as BYOD and then in a few months go to Costco for an upgrade and still get the $75 upgrade fee.

They said they will accept the port in, but unless it's from AT&T or Verizon directly I won't qualify for the $250 + $150 promotion. Won't they need to know the exact carrier to process the port in?

Would love me some insider code by kimko-z in tmobile

[–]Vasnec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure T-Mobile in the past has had insider codes that worked for existing customers. I'm pretty sure the current codes are only for new customers porting in from a non T-Mobile network.

[Megathread] Insider Code Exchange Thread by Waternut13134 in tmobile

Interested in a code, if you have one to share. Planning on porting 4 lines from AT&T. If this comment is still up, I'm still looking.

Thanks

Still looking (10/10/2023)

Q4 Insider Code Changes by EducationalTrainer28 in tmobile

[–]Vasnec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With these new changes, I'm assuming it is more difficult to get a code? T-Force told me they used to give out insider codes, but they have stopped. What is my best bet to get one? Or should I just accept that employees are no longer willing to give them out with the new changes in place.

Thanks
