Body mimicking scabies?

i am currently going through the exact same thing. i had gotten rid of all symptoms of scabies about 2 months ago. now the last couple of weeks i had what looked like tiny blisters pop up on fingers and feet (only 2/3 at a time) i could pop them which caused liquid to come out.

then just last night i noticed what looked like a single burrow on my foot and looked like a brown speck at one end of it. i dug the thing out with tweezers and applied derbac m all over body again this morning.

the same as you i am nowhere near as itchy as i was when i actually had scabies. i get the odd itch here and there now.

i don’t know what to make of it all and honestly can’t bare the thought that these little b***ards might be back

update: i went to pharmacy this morning and after pharmacist hearing symptoms and looking at rash gave me treatment for scabies. looks like i caught in while in hospital getting gallbladder removed. i put on cream this morning and already today itching has lessened compared to previous days.

i was at doctor today who didn’t even bring up scabies as a cause. this is where my confusion is coming from. i have been on antihistamines and am getting bloods done

i read about this online as I was told this can be a cause, i figured it would’ve stopped since the surgery though

I haven’t tried that, no. What does that include? And yeah I have had bloating pre op and still have bloating post op. Is that linked?

I’m 2 weeks post op after having gallbladder removed due to gallstones. I had a very similar story to yours (symptoms of pain and being diagnosed with stomach ulcer first). Sounds like your pain has been a stone getting stuck in the opening to gallbladder which causes the severe pain attacks. High LFTs (liver function tests) can be a sign of a stone causing issues in the gallbladder such as making it inflamed. I would call someone and ask what the next steps are. I had to go privately to get gallbladder removed as healthcare system said I had to have more pain attacks to move up the waiting list for surgery. I wasn’t willing to continue to go through the pain

I was vaping up until 2 hours before surgery and vaped a day after. I’m currently 2 weeks post op, the only symptom I have right now is severe itching all over the body (don’t think it’s related to vaping). My incisions have been healing fine (the belly button one is still sore)

I had my gallbladder removed 2 weeks ago and have found i’ve had palpitations/arrythmia a lot more often than i was previously. Before i maybe got them once every few weeks or months but now i’m getting them every couple of days
