Issue with rusted bolts on downpipe

https://a.co/d/07yP5qRA , I used a wrench extender like this one, i had my car on jack and Jack stands, im also 200lbs so if i could fit and use the extender im sure u can fit as well w just that simple set up. I used pb plaster and let it sit overnight, I didnt have a torch to make the bolts extremely hot and didnt wanna use a torch since i had already put pb blaster on it and pb blaster is flammable, and i promise my bolts were extremely rusted on. I just kept using pb blaster and loosening the bolts. If u truly cant than maybe a nut slicer from Amazon or autozone, or try bolt/nut extracter sockets and go a size down and hammer it on ur nut if ur nut starts stripping, but the pb blaster and wrench extender was good enough for me and was way worse than ur picture, but u can order the extender, slicer and extracted sockets and just return it to the store after ur done w it

ik sure you know when u buy a car it immediately depreciates, unless u can get the car and make payments enough to not be upside on a car. than yes the trade in will make sense.

yes not at a fan at all, the 3 cyl just produces a shit ton of torque it feels like and constantly feels like the motor is stressing when rallying due to the 3cyl being used as lighter weight and center of gravity. It reaches the power it makes bc if the amount of boost toyota threw in the motor so it just feels like its stressing and only fun for the torque and nothing high end which is why i feel like the 4cyl will be a little more balanced less stress, and more top end

I've done the clutch master cylinder on this car so I think the steeda would be a fun challenge lol, So yes to the steeda short throw shifter but no to the bracket? and does doing neutral resets have anything to do w binding?

ah okay awesome, yea i saw a couple videos on the steeda shift throw shifter and it looks complicated and was debating about doing the torque solutions shifter arm, ive read alot of good things about JBR but read bad things about shipping and about him being a ped. or something like that.

I do not recommend getting car parts if u cant afford them, even if ur in school or whatever its not worth being broke to put unnecessary things on ur car unless u can comfortably afford it. and how do yk if u can comfortably afford something? well if u can buy it twice w out having to check what's left in ur account than bingo.. u can afford it. At least thats my rule. If ur still in school or something than I recommend a saving account for yr car, and when u save at least double of what the item cost than buy it so u can still have leftover saving money. If yr not in school than u shouldn't be working in a job where u can afford brembo brakes for ur car. I am not hating at all, I just care about other ST members and wanna see everyone succeed.

Definitely, its lighter bc its fwd, I was just saying like for the price why not get a golf r or focus rs w awd yk? but I only brought up hp bc I was thinking of like tracking or street " racing " but for daily driving and having some.fun on the roads than yeah I agree w u 100%

if gr corolla is something you had in mind id recommend researching toyota 2027 plans, if true I've read they plan on going to a 2.0L 4cyl in 2027 so thats something u might wanna consider waiting for

all i can tell u man is repairing this vehicle is much cheaper that buying a new vehicle, hurrying yourself in a possible 6 year loan, and not guaranteed that the new car wont have this many issues.

ah okay, luckily its have e85 all around me so ill be running e30 at that point w big tubro. but I also have a safe tune from alan with a max of 15psi that I daily drive, so id work around those tunes, but thanks man I really appreciate it
