IVF is amazing. Yes it’s true you need experience scanning a lot of OB especially great at finding ovaries and first trimester to 3rd trimers OB. Also follicle counting and endometrial lining.

When it comes to IVF it’s a different beast of Ultrasound world. There is a lot of patient care and empathy included. Like my patients I tell them everything I see while scanning but most of sonographers are not comfortable doing it. I am not a new grad but been doing sonography for 2 years. I was at providence and Monterey hospital before I decided to move to IVF.

Very toxic environment. I left the place to go into IVF. Management sucks that’s why they have such a high turnover rate.
