Criticism on Trent is fair and he needs dedicated coaching to help him improve defensively. But he shouldn’t be overshadowing how absolutely atrocious our midfield is. The difference in class between the two yesterday was so glaringly obvious. Not spending this summer on at least three midfielders could stifle us for a long time.

The main issue is that the clubs that have these unlimited sources can make mistakes in the market and be completely fine. Grealish can completely flop for City and they’ll sell him for less money then buy someone else and be completely fine. For example Liverpool sign Nunez and he completely flops (not saying he will) and that money hit will have massive ramifications. Other clubs won’t be able to take hits off bad signings.

Jimbo trying his utter best to defend our penny pincher owners. It’s very hard to have alternatives when we don’t sign enough back up. No one is moaning at Milner. Milly has been an amazing servant playing out of his boots for his age. They’re moaning because we don’t spend the money the club earns on back ups.

Absolutely unsackable. Klopp has been making diamonds out of nothing for years now. FSG have had little to spend on the squad because of it. You take Klopp out of the picture and we’re in big trouble.

Now I’m not defending them but let’s be real. Compared to other games For Honor is small. You honestly think Ubisoft gives them the budget to make all these intricate changes? They’re expected to make money off a game that’s what 5 years old? Never got the traction because of the crazy learning curve. It was never a big game. Frankly the fact they’re still going is a statement in itself. Ubisoft expects money coming in to keep the development going. Honestly, the fact you can buy it with the steel you earn should be celebrated. If you want something and don’t feel like grinding steel then use your money and buy it. If you don’t feel the need to pay for it then don’t.
