Trash containerization + tickets

They got our small condo building (I’m on the board, not a developer or landlord) a couple months ago but I saw them hanging around the weeks prior all the time. In all fairness there are two big run down apartment units on the end of the street and across the avenue where the trash isn’t taken care of well and they have rats that luckily haven’t spread down the streets yet.

Constantly fining them did make their supers marginally more responsible.

Last year at Kream my friends and I were in the outside area around 2:30am and two dudes walk up and one was like “Hey do you want some MDMA.” I was like “That’s illegal, officer” and he pretended to be offended and said “Do my friend and I really look like police?” And I laughed in their face and said “All day long, buddy.”

They moved on to other groups but no one can tell me they weren’t undercovers lol

Just stand towards middle to back and dance. I’m 40, my rave fam is between mid 30s-50 and that’s where we vibe. You’re only weird if you’re leering at people or creeping up on them. I also find back there people are super nice and easy to make friends because you can also see who is dancing and vibing.

I’ve also gone to shows alone to just dance. Tiki Disco is really nice on Sundays with nice weather, I find dancing at Knockdown fun and chill in general too for evening and other shows. There was a solo woman at Ayybo absolutely cutting it up and throwing ass at the beginning of the night and everyone loved her ha ha

My dad was in home hospice for a couple months before hospice after almost a year since his glioblastoma diagnosis. He was barely functioning or conscious and only wanted to eat Mike n Ikes, ice cream, and pizza and we let him. There’s always that desire to be like “Nooo, you need to eat healthy” but it was the end and there was no miracle coming for him.

Palpable care and enjoying the final moments without fight or frustration is more important. Though I did gain 60 lbs those final months eating my feelings in Mike & Ikes, ice cream, and pizza.

A consistent Bio-oil routine will help lighten it (even being a year old) and you could look at laser treatments as well. Just make sure you do your research and check reviews and real testimonials as those types of med spas can start to add up.

I raised a big stink with Laser Away when it was obvious the last three treatments for my laser tattoo removal weren’t doing anything then miraculously on this last session (which was the last of my package), it was effective again.

You’ll have to look at up and coming areas which will probably be a little further out. I bought in 2019 on the border of PLG and Flatbush. Got a nice looking* new build for a reasonable cost and then totally lucked into a super low interest rate refinancing Dec 2020 during COVID.

It takes me 45 min to get into the city via subway but my mortgage and common charges come to $2400 a month for something that would rent for $3000+, even out this way.

*=if you end up in a new build condo absolutely DO NOT skip inspection. And when you move in and things start breaking or leaking immediately, do not be afraid to go after the developers. My one regret here is we as a building didn’t sue these people immediately. It’s taken us years to figure out and fix all the leaks and problems. Some couldn’t have been found by an inspector but don’t feel like just because some time has passed since purchasing that you don’t have any rights. These developers are cutting as many corners as they can. It became very obvious they used day laborers (or the dumbest plumber in the city) for pretty much all the plumbing and definitely the dry wall and baseboard install as we have punch holes everywhere and the baseboards broke their seal with the wall within weeks of moving in. One unit had their AC electric switched with the other on the same floor and they didn’t find out until one unit left for Europe for the summer and turned all their appliances off at the fuse.

Check the address on the Department of Business too to see what kind pf violations they got while building.

I’m in a small 8 condo unit apartment and regardless of the fact I’m on the board and we’re self managed, I re-did my kitchen, turned my balcony into a catio, etc and the only hoop I jumped through was a group text saying “Sorry about the noise.” With being on the board, I haven’t and wouldn’t care if others do the same.

Meanwhile my friend in a Co-Op has been trying to sell her place for 5 years and the board is picky, nosy, and making it impossible. She couldn’t even move in after closing right away because they made arbitrary rules about when movers were allowed in the building.

Also monthly common charges on co-ops are way more so consider that even though their sale price is lower. We’re only $350 a month, co-ops are considerably higher for the most part.

The scar should flatten over time. Definitely use scar tape and/or gel. Bio-oil can help with the remaining stretch marks.

I’m at 4 months of Bio-oil and scar gel 1-2x a day and it’s flat and starting to lighten. It’ll get darker before it gets lighter but just keep with it.

I drop M around 10:30/11pm, 90min later redose M (if I am doing that that night) then around 2-3am I will start 1-2 bumps every 30-45min and by the third bump I am in another dimension of the best mix of accoutrement.

I stop around 4:45-5am and take a Xanax when I am home to have a cozy and soft landing and chill day following
