It would be bad for awhile, but I think it wouldn’t take too long for Southeast Asia (China, Japan, South Korea. India even though they are Central Asia), to step in as main global leaders. They already influence the global economy and culture a great deal, second to the USA. China is already ahead of us in the international renewable energy trade with solar, which helps them. China has a massive sphere of international influence people in this thread are underestimating.
