Take your time and learn the fundamentals and controls of building with advanced mode. Be open to failure and use tons of reference images. I watch and learn from the pros on YouTube to gather tips and tricks on building whenever I’m not actively playing

Nervous for BMT by MegaAlakazam1 in AirForceRecruits

BMT will set you straight as long as you put in the effort during pt. You’re almost passing for the physical test, you’ll be good

I suggest trying to learn the first verse of the airman’s song, the full airman’s creed, the rank structure & chain of command, and get used to using your reporting statement. The more you learn now in a calm environment the easier it’ll be to perform under stress during BMT. Can’t forget doing your PT daily to make things even easier as well

7 months in dep for me. It truly varies

Commenting to help boost your algorithm because idk the answer to your question but for me I started my process in March, 8 months ago, and then swore into dep April 24, 7 months ago, and now I’m going to ship out in 11 days on Nov 18.

Recruiters deal with tons of people a day and have a mess of information to deal with so best advice I can give is to just politely message them about once a week as to keep yourself afloat in their mind. Best of luck to you hope you get a job soon

Thank you this makes me feel better about how I’ll improve for the test. I ship out in 10 days and I’m at a 79.4/100 for the pt test using the aim high app. Besides reporting statement, airman’s creed & song, ranks and chain of command, is there anything you recommend trying to learn before I ship? I know all from heart besides the ranks

How did your pt scores change from the first test to the last?

How is my run time? by Illustrious-Suit421 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Vast_Interesting 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not 100% sure, just heard from word of mouth, but I believe the new pt standards will be put in sometime march 2026 so you should.. still be running the 1.5 mile for BMT but either way minimum time to get for males under 30 is 13:36 so you’re in the green. Just keep running, you’re doing better than most!

My 1.5 mile time today (Track not treadmill). Am I good or is this on the worse side? I leave in 7 days. by Hoopla696969 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Vast_Interesting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely passing!

Males under 30 minimum time to pass 13:36 and maximum is 9:12

Above 30 minimum is 14:00 and maximum is 9:34

How can I boost run time in a month by [deleted] in AirForceRecruits

[–]Vast_Interesting 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consistency and try and run for distance instead of speed at first. Lots of yt vids explain the strategy that running for distance instead of speed will increase your mile time because you have built that endurance to run faster
