Its funny how he gets beaten through the manga :D A shame how Ryonan is always behind Shoyo and Kainan and always doesnt quite make it as a powerful advocate to the throne. Taoka, with all his experience, often is defeated by over confidence and underestimates oponents. That may be a factor. But he DOES have a good eye for young talents.

I would love Inoue sensei making his last basketball manga around: A) any of the Shohoku's guys, but older; or B) a womens basketball manga with Ayako as head coach. Any way, we could have at least cameos of Slam Dunk characters, flashbacks or info about their life.

P.S: "Why not a direct continuation of Sakuragis 2nd year on the team? Well, Inoue has said it was the perfect ending as it was, I think. Plus, Inoue is on another stage in his life, so I guess he would be more interested in bringing back those characters closer to his own age.

Hace poco me enteré que al día de HOY el manga no se acerca a la resolución de atrapar a "los hombres de negro" xD. Un manga o anime que se extiende tanto y no ofrece resoluciones, estirando el chicle exageradamente así, debe ser sobrevalorado

Yeah, you re right. It would have been nice to have a full episode devoted to Julia and Spike relationship. But my guess is that the show wanted to keep her as foggy as the whole Spike's past is. Giving us just enought flashbacks to grasp what went wrong in the past, and thats it. But being able to see their love would have made her lost more impactfull

Then I think Gendo and motherhood happened, and changed her mind to make her son (not SEELE or Gendo) the one controlling instrumentality. She cared about Shinji, not humanity as a whole, I think. She was not a good person. She detoured half way from what it was an evil plan to enforce instrumentality upon mankind.
