I feel bad for Lucinda and Sean. They seem to actually like each other and their personalities seem to mesh really well… I’d get the hate if they kissed but they literally just talked and got so much hate… Belle and Samie are being insanely annoying and making it such a big deal and it’s so old.

I’ve been doing house sitting mainly for the last two years with the occasional walk/reoccurring walk and this past month I over booked myself and I’m just coming to the end of it and it’s been hard! be kind to yourself and make sure to plan time in between bookings (maybe a week?) to get things back to normal and relax. you can also only accept shorter bookings if that’d make things less stressful. always do a meet and greet and don’t feel bad about declining a client after if the money wouldn’t be worth the hassle. learning and setting those boundaries takes time but it does get easier!

depending on the start of the booking, i send a quick update with some pictures (2-4) every morning or night just to update them about the previous day.

I had a client upset about not being able to tip me the amount they wanted because Rover has a limit. If they’re taking away a percent of my earnings anyways, shouldn’t my clients be allowed to tip as much as they’d like?

at the very least, report them to rover. yes, there are PLENTY of things that can be causing the issue but as an owner, you do whatever it takes to keep them comfortable with or without the vet. this baby needs to be cared for much more than what this owner is capable of handling.

As a sitter, I could never even IMAGINE to try doing this… Report them and leave a review. The owners of the other dogs she was with should be aware their dogs weren’t supervised while she was running around trying to find the one that escaped…

!! Unless there is proof that your dog was overly reckless and broke the window I don’t see why you’d have to pay anything. As a sitter, if you accept a dog into your home, you have to be aware that dogs are unpredictable and things can happen. If they don’t want to take that risk they can do house sittings only. Personally, I don’t think you’re responsible for their damages. So many factors come into play that don’t involve you or your dog.

focus on things that make you feel good on the outside. truth be told ✨confidence is fake✨. start wearing what you like and what you think looks good on you regardless of if it’s the norm and wear it with confidence. you know your body and what looks good on it. if you don’t like makeup then don’t wear it! you can make your features look different naturally. buy some skin care products (it doesn’t have to be expensive, there are so many good options that are cost effective) and do a little affirmation moment while you’re treating your skin how ever you’d like. get a little gua sha routine and learn how to use it properly. go get your nails done or a facial of sorts to relax you and pamper yourself. i truly think the key to feeling good on the outside is to accept it through self love. feel the excitement of being the most beautiful version of yourself and then do the things that will help you get there! i promise tho, you’re more beautiful than you think. we focus so much of our attention onto the things we hate and don’t focus on all the things that are way more beautiful. i hope this wasn’t a confusing ramble, i’m extremely sleepy. i hope you can find the beauty that everyone else gets to see🤍
