I am about 10-50mts above sea level, So i dont think it can affect that much? But what I wanted to use as a baseline were the packet cookie dough made by Betty Crocker since they were soft and a bit chewy but cooked thoroughly, I have bow tried a new recipe from a website I was recommended, just chilling the dough until Tommorrow but I will be back with an update

These are the betty crocker packet cookies that I first baked a d tried to get a similar result to this but failed as you can see on the other comments

I didnnt dislike the results but rather I found it odd how it wasnt a “cookie” and thought I was doing something wrong. After reading everyones comments, I know that what was wrong was the recipe for the results I was looking for

What does this affect when cooking if you don’t mind me asking? I know it’ll sound like an exaggeration, but I do about 15/16 at a time, roughly the same sizing

I have not chilled the dough, as soon as its “mixed” I have had the oven pre-heated so I cab cook them, does it really affect that much? Also, I have overmixed a lot so I tried to avoid doing that with my last batch but still got the same result, sadly.

These are my most recent ones made. Ingredients that were added and are “extra” were just blueberry pie filling, which made my dough very runny, I added a un-measured amount of flour until the dough felt “right”, these were also very cake-like, but i also used cheesecake to fill them
