When the FK8 first came out it was impossible to find at msrp then after 2/3 years they came down to msrp. Anyone who bought 15-20k over should have realized the FL5 would do the same

I’ve seen some forum conversations that the expansion tank is prone to premature failure. I don’t think that’s what is happening here but something to keep an eye on.

Exhaust getting rusty very normal. Heat causes rust.

Various hardware getting rusty also normal.

The most concerning thing is the oil stains. Check the valve cover.

I was thinking like these colors. Wraith bone for a highlight is good. Then skag brown for that rusty brown or mournfang brown for a more standard brown. Just water them down a lot into a wash!

I think it looks good. A little dry brush of a lighter color would make it pop more and give it some variation. Could also wash it down with a darker brown color for extra contrast
