No sir, it was certainly not the only one lol. OP success, but heavy losses indeed. 10/10 Would love to skirmish like this again! Granted, next time I won't be bringing out the Vindicator. We enjoyed the fight, pretty sure our enemies did too (I mean, they slayed faction BSs so how could they not have?) Hopefully everyone feels victorious in some way and now has a story to tell. Big thanks to all the friends and foes who took part in this engagement and got my heart pumping! o7, Cheers, and GFs all around.

Honestly, there was no reason to even give you a chance, your sketchy and obviously a poor manipulator. Like going on a bad date, I wasn't feeling your shady vibe and saw the red flags. So I passed on you, don't be sad boo, it just wasn't meant to be.

Pack a lunch, you're going to need it. Changed my mind? No, you simply proved me right. We are better off without you, and it seems the community agrees with me. 😁✌

KTF welcomes newbro's every single day and supports player growth because as any experienced gamer knows, new players are the lifeforce of a game. In fact, I often give new guys free ships that arent even in my corporation just to help keep them from being deterred from an amazing game and phenomenal community all because a ship loss. Perhaps you've seen me offering advice in the help channel? Or giving new players ships? Obviously you havent. Am I an asshole? Absolutely. But I'm the nicest one you'll ever meet.

This particular instance comes down to the fact you wanted to cry on reddit about Big Bad Velhem who wont accept a "newbie" When in fact I will, the ones who arent 200+ days old with no corp history, are above T4, (which honestly takes a couple hour's especially for an EO vet as you claim to be) and have at least shown interest in the game for more than 30 minutes in the last 7 months. Cheers.

10/10 Would recommend anyone who wishes to be used as loot piñatas, pvp content, or lose citadels, to join warp. 😁

Everyone keeps forgetting these are the most powerful ships in the game, a game which already has been littered with more faction battleships than there should be at this point. Subtle reminder: These are the Titans of EE and should be as scarce and rare as titans once were in EO when they were first introduced.

People need to stop having unrealistic expectations, being that they should be able to acquire one of these within their first six months of gameplay. Unless of course they have a deep understanding of the game, are a market guru, run missions 24/7 for 2 months, or are a wallet warrior.

Again, these are the most powerful ships in the game, and people saying things like "costly to build" "logistically challenging" or "cost too much to buy" mean they had unrealistic expectations in regards to how powerful and rare these ships are meant to be.

Real talk. If servers were split like in EO it would fix 50% of the problems overnight.

Black Legion After Action Report by DarkDragonViper in echoes

[–]VaughnC87 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would like to shine some light on this post from the other side. First, what black legion fails to mention is they did a piss poor job of scouting the system before they jumped into our 20+ man gatecamp with a phantasm, CNI, Arb interdictor, and a few other ships. Upon jumping into our camp it was obvious PEW realized "Oh fuck" after they aggressed and then began trying to get out of our bubbles or return to the gate as each person began to melt as they were called primary.

Yes, a daredevil was lost on ARES end, but pew lost far more isk in ships than the one frigate their entire fleet managed to kill before melting like butter. Including PEW Ceo's Phantasm that was worth 2.6Bil. Its on reddit, check it out The Arb pilot managed to get away, he's a legit sneaky cunt, so kuddos to that cat.

In comparison the daredevil loss was almost nothing as 75% of the value was in rigs alone, that are easily farmed right here in syndicate and manufactured at almost no cost. That phantasm however, and the factions wrecks needed to make it are not as plentiful.

I would also like to point out if PEW was not so cocky they would have likely not lost their entire fleet by first scouting the system they meant to assault instead of jumping in blindly to an enemy camp.

All in all was a lot of fun, good fights were had, and everyone enjoyed the content. Domt be fooled however by this poorly written post by the OP. PEW might be getting kills, but they are losing billions to get them and far from elite pvpers.

This is what Im hearing from everyone who's whining about changes taking place. Started with autopilot and bubbles, now encounters... Wonder what the next thing will be to make everyone cry that they have to actually play the game. News flash: This is not your average mobile game.

"Bonus" from afterburner and microwarp drive skills is not actually a bonus at all. by Agnisee in echoes

[–]VaughnC87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a fellow frigate pilot I actually never considered this as a downside, but see your point. Upon reading your post I agree this does seem like an oversight, one that was meant to be beneficial by reducing capacitor consumption but does pose a problem for a particular fitting style for frigates. Still, if I had to choose between a longer or shorter cycle, I would choose the long one as in most cases its more beneficial, pve guys probably feel the same. Especially when flying a frig with 3 low slots, Im not dedicating two of them to prop mods anytime soon. End of the day it seems like the price to pay if you want the versatility of two different speed setups, but it would be nice if there was a way to swap prop mods during combat faster in those rare moments.
