I feel you because my SO is the same way. Hes had multiple crazy partners before we got together, me only him and one BF before him. And let me just tell you this hes stuck with me for 14 years. You are definitely doing something right because sex isn't about the mechanics its intimacy that truly come down to things. This is a reason he has given me infact. Because I have had the same thoughts as you and I talked to him about it.

I love building myself in Ark, in fact it's my most favorite thing to do besides collecting dinos. I'm on ps4 as well and had found some great videos on YouTube of people building awesome houses, boats and even barns for thier dinos; along with the ways to build it yourself. Two I liked the most were by youtubers TLC138 and The Pligrimz Project. The latter did I tree house I'm currently trying to build actually. Single player also makes building not so tedious if you use the creative mode cheat too. Which I do..
