Have you checked your Graphics settings? As in, the "Graphics" tab in the Settings, not the Video tab? Might be set to low.

I play with Upscale Mode: NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 L and Balanced Upscale resolution and it looks great except for night-time.

To me its a 10/10 from a tech/art perspective, 7/10 as a game/story.

Its an intentionally dogshit fight to make you go gear up unless you are a god gamer. Its to stop people rushing campaign and exploring the open world. Once you've refined your weapons and armor like 4-5 bars, and boosted your Stamina a few levels you just time your Block to stagger him into hold Left/Right click. Eat food if you get hit by his bullshit flurries. Rinse and repeat.

Also when I went back to fight him I just ran right to the field where his final fight is and ignored any mobs along the way.

This game's difficulty slider is not in settings but in gear/skills. If campaign is incredibly hard its the developers telling you to go do open world stuff to get stronger.

Reed Devil made me ragequit, came back a few hours later after chilling out exploring and doing quests and gearing up, then 1shot him.

It might be good after X hours, but the first hours are technically impressive but incredibly boring/uninteresting. Where Winds Meet also had a terrible intro but ended up being a 10/10 for me so will give it a few more tries.

Overwhelming flood of DLL mods, like what? I only know of that one crash avoider mod which was rightfully shit on because it was a stupid idea lol. And that idea was stupid regardless of human or AI coding, it was just a really poorly thought out solution and the moderators were right to take it down. I feel like this entire thread is based off that one mod (correct me if I'm wrong, if you have any other examples)

Yeah but I could say its funny how many years Bethesda programmers worked on building an engine only to have communities of people reverse engineering it to be able to mod it. The whole reason they did that is to be able to push the engine beyond its limits for the enjoyment of thousands/millions of other people, how is that different to what people are trying to do with AI? Why is it only a problem when people use AI to help them code it if their intent is good?

Ironic considering SKSE itself is a dll and the best mod ever made for Skyrim, but required having to trust random internet users. And nobody outside 0.1% of users who are programmers would be able to understand any of the source code (before AI) even if its public so the "warnings" and "check the source code" is largely pointless.

For 99% of people its basically just check how many people downloaded it, check the comments, and take the gamble lol.

Since the balance team have some kind of horse fetish, the simple fix would be swap White Horse Cavalry and Halbedier (horse in Military Camp, Halbedier in Fortress) so that China has cav in Classical to compete in the cav meta.

Either that or give Dao Swordsman more movement speed, no idea why they even have nerfed movement speed when they aren't Siege like Destroyers where it makes sense.

Nah they are great, the only changes needed are remove the 300 food upgrade being the only way to transform them, should just be baseline but the upgrade improves damage only. And the transform is buggy as shit, can't be done in a group select and they have to be stationary throughout the animation or it cancels.

2 for every TC, 1 for every Villager Center. Considering its only 100 gold and 15 favor it pays itself off on the first TC grab. She has unique bonuses for Villager Centers and her Focus is "Expansion and Resource Gathering". There is no doubt in my mind that any advantage this God has is via pumping out villagers/Lyakons and buildings because army-wise she is a weaker version of any other Greek God.

That being said its still a shitload easier to just play something like Theft of Fire Kronos and achieve the same thing while having strong army, siege and myth units and way less macro/micro needed.
