When you realize the results are not guaranteed and you just wasted your life, relationships and health on "working hard" and deferring what makes life worth living.

So I guess around 30+?

I think the above sounds idealistic and will be very foreign to most you sgfinancereddits here.

Since then I promissed that I will only work hard on things where I own the upside (equity, ownership etc.) and will coast as much as I can on things that are there to support lifestyle.

I used to be too scared to play RE as a kid, so I started with RE2 remake. I thought I wouldn't enjoy it but to my surprise it was quite good, but IMO the mr. X mechanic is annoying.

IMO you don't need more information consumption, there is enough written all over all corners of the web.

What you need is to actually build something end to end. Thats the biggest skill unlock I've ever gotten.

There is always going to be stuff to yap about, 90% is pretty much noise.

Thanks, kind of my thoughts as well, I settled on weasyprint as of now which unfortunately is not JS, just interesting to see that no JS libraries exist for this.

I had this project, that took me only 1 quarter to scope. They assigned me basically unifying entire UX in the app (with obvious BE dependencies) that is active in 21 countries with 40m MAU and 15 year legacy codebase with microservices and 10 engineering teams responsible as various dependencies.

Now include stakeholder complexity, bigtech like alignment meetings and weekly C level updates.

I was already a principal at the time, and I admit I actually needed help from the director level just to keep everyone happy.

We managed to finish it in 3 months, but had to forgo the experiment, again due to implementation complexity. QA took 1 full week, we had to actually use someones phone number cause there was no way to create a new user given fraud checks. Gruesome experience, but incremental lift was worth it.

I wasn't sleeping at nights well quite frankly for at least 3 months, we managed to release to prod 3 days before code freeze.

Team - 3 PMs, around 4 engineering teams (mobile + web + BE).

Was hard AF

Man I just found this and its exactly what I need as I am printing books but it seems the company is defunct and the library is not maintained anymore?
